QUOTE(Amedion @ Mar 2 2008, 01:27 PM) LOL... Just now I maxed out all the voltage... 100% OC straight away freeze... Guess my processor can't get 100% OC though... Vcore in CPU-z reading @ 1.776v MCH @ +0.3v FSB @ +0.3v RAM @ 2.4v very high vcore... Added on March 3, 2008, 4:48 pmQUOTE(cyberfly @ Mar 3 2008, 12:04 PM) You can view his guide here : http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/623648someone should put the link at the first post, first page of the thread. not many forumers notice about the Essential Guide section. is it safe Kingston value ram running at 2.1v?might try with my Kingston Value Ram yup essentila guide should be put up to avoid repeating troubleshootings.... QUOTE(Dreamworks @ Mar 3 2008, 04:39 PM) @tech_frix But don't blame me if it doesn't work I'm just sharing based on my experience... Last time my FSB got stucked at 200MHz no matter what I do/set in BIOS, Reset/Shutdown/etc. didn't make the new clock take effect until I disconnected the AC Power and reconnect again no need to unplug the AC power...after set ur OC setting...boot into window...then shutdown the pc...off the main power psu button...press the pc power button to discharge...wait a bit 10s-15s...then power back on...it should be ok...

Almost the same ma, the objective is to completely cut power to the mobo... Some PSUs don't come with a switch at the back though By the way, you're using a DS3 right? Did you face problems similar to me after using EasyTune 5 Pro? Does Memset work for you? This post has been edited by Dreamworks: Mar 3 2008, 05:17 PM

EasyTune 5 Pro is the one that caused my FSB to get stucked, maybe I changed the settings too many times in Windows or something just went plain wrong Memset... No comment... Run the program, then close it without changing/saving any settings. Restart my PC, failed to POST! And everything gets restored to default Value RAMs also not that bad in OC ma, some more so cheap only. I got mine for RM65 per GB

Bro, just wondering if Crucial Ballistix DDR667 CL3 can do DDR800 CL3 or not? OR the DDR800 CL4 can do DDR800 CL3?

it depends on the chip they use la. IF its the same chip as the team extreem 1066Mhz cl4, then maybe its possible.

Lookie here... I managed to clock a bit higher at lower vCore... I have a weird proc 3136MHz
3.14GHz@1.350v failed ORTHOS in 17 minutes 3.15GHz@1.325v failed ORTHOS in 5 hours 3.16GHz@1.375v failed ORTHOS in 22 minutes WTH?!? Added on March 3, 2008, 8:43 pmBy the way, the first core is the first one to fail again... Everytime! This post has been edited by Dreamworks: Mar 3 2008, 08:43 PM
