As far as I know, DELL does not have the option to customize the 1520 with TV tuner.

Yup, I'm also facing the same problem. Now waiting for reply from DELL CUST CARE. In fact, I have to disable the WIFI option because XP will be hang for 3 minutes after it is started trying searching for signal. mad.gif

You want the travel remoted or TV tuner? I don't think Dell has the option to sell the TV tuner with this model.

Many user complain about 1330 whining sound from the processor.Any 1520 user having this buzzing issue ?
*
i have noticed this whining sound recently after updated my nvidia drivers for both xp and vista. strangely it is only apparent when i'm running vista. for xp, it is quiet like a rabbit. the high pitched sound is only noticeable when i'm in a very silent room. is this something i should worry about? unsure.gif

I think his score is higher because he updated his display driver. My score was the same as yours with stock driver. Then after installing several driver updates, the score went up to 4.8. Mind you that the driver I'm using is not officially released by Dell instead i'm using the modified inf version.

The rating is not very consistent, you may try running it at different time and may get different score. your lowest score in which category ?

"Installation INF(ormation) file" tells the installer how to install the driver. The INF has the instructions to what files to copy and where. It will also setup settings to install with. Usually every driver installer package for windows operating system has this file in its folder.

If you're interested in updating your driver, you can reffer to this thread http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/504989
