Well, maybe you might wan to wait a little longer and work in ur engineering field. I'm not sure u'll like to do programming because u took engineering course afterall. RPG is a niche market, its up to you whether you wanted to try. It does pays good when u got the experience but wat job doenst? Who knows u get better opportunity in engineering fields.

Silverlake is a software house. We have many projects thus most of the staff are programmers. We have marketing team, accounts etc but programmers are the one Silverlake needs all the time.

You can park in 1U or outdoor parking. Silverlake located in Lvl 2A KPMG Tower which is next to 1World Hotel which is also next to 1Utama. All of them r linked.

Added on May 3, 2010, 10:28 pmWhere u heard them from? Its not an easy task to migrate a system to another. There is many risk involved. Money aside, the biggest risk is data loss while migration in which a financial company couldn't afford for it to happen.

Silverlake is a software vendor. Surely most of them are programmers. Traveling wise, it depends on the project ur in and the needs.

Silverlake have many products, maybe u can ask wats the team ur going to join or let us know the interviewer name den some ppl here might able to let u know.

You can request and talk to your pm but for fresh grad, this is the only opportunity to earn bucks and project experience rather than doing maintenance and development only.

Going overseas, most probably you'll have to stay there for a month unless exceptional travel.

Newbie will be sent to overseas if the team have less ppl and need some 1 to show face at the site.

Good thing is u can earn ur bucks

Depends on which country you go. Some are hotels some are apartments and even service apartments. Most probably your sharing room with another person unless you're the only one traveling there or higher rank.

Only those rank like SA will get personal room. Other will be in twin sharing basis.

It will take some time for you to get used to RPG. Its actually not difficult to code. The difficult part is the application logic.

If ur interested to work after graduation, Yes. the chances are very high unless u screw up your internship. Project management normally deals with clients and own ppl. Their job is mostly coordinating the project so client and own ppl could communicate and meet deadlines etc.

However, techincal ppl would mostly think project ppl are a waste of time because in the end its the techincal ppl who talks to the clients because PMO are just routers and know nothing.

Well, its my personal opinion cos I really dont know the job scope of PMO's. As an intern, you will have even more basic task I assume.

Yea. Like u said. Lousy ones. . What I expect from the better ones are those who knows wats going on. Coordinate everything and get what we need on time. Most of them just asking us to finish on time while the tools and documents from clients that are supposed to be followed up by them are missing. In the end, technical ppl need to approach clients rather than waiting for PMO's so we could get our work done and communication are easier.

Not necessary. Depends how you negotiate using your result. Some fresh graduates i heard could get 2500 or even 2700-2800. I started at 2k and 2150 after probation previously. Charm.

Depends on how quick u wanna get ur job done. We dont force you to work late if u can get your job done. Just dont let ppl clean up ur mess dats all

Flexible or not it depends on ur commitment to finish the work. Balance it and it will be fine.

Btw, business line ppl are not much in slake. There shud be around 1 BA per 30 programmers.

For internal application, it depends whether ur boss like u anot. If u wanted to switch to other teams, I think you need to re-apply.
