don't think it ever will. Altis has been cbu from thai for many years. only Vios is local assembled.

But next generation vios will be based on tnga platform. And now perodua has also started their dnga production. Wonder what took so long for umw to setup their tnga locally.

The next TNGA CKD in Msia most likely Corolla Cross.
Manufacturers are focusing on SUV and crossover CKD than C-segment sedan.

Corolla Altis has been CBU from Thailand even during the previous generation. C-segment is a dying breed in Msia and Civic is dominating the market. There will be little business case to CKD the sedan. SUV is a better bet

The reason why civic is killing it is because of the price point which is due to the fact its ckd.

This is a good handling car, but because of X70 and civic price, it is underrated?

Any good offer now?

Hi,

Saw 2019 E Spec ( white ) at Mudah with selling price 112K.
Asked for bit discount, but SA says already gave big discount.

Can share your purchase price ? I intent to get one too.

Thanks

Collected mine 2 weeks ago. Overall a very comfy and family car with all the right safety feature. Control panel with minimal design to ease accessing while driving. The large 7" Multi-information display which comes with Apple Car and Android Auto is easy to use. Only downside is not much compartment available especially card slot at dashboard.

Overall a car worth paying.

From an Altis owner since 2010.
