Anyone here managed to get the Plus Box as existing customer? I spoke to Customer support but they give me no option except to downgrade to 300Mbps and sign a 24 months contract which I'm very hesitant just for a TV box. But having a 2nd box for other part of the house is a good thing for me to maximize my current Ultimate Pack.

Anyone ada jalan just for me to buy the box outright?

A few weeks ago I've been kicking myself for not getting the box because of no more rm10/month option but now that animax is no longer aired I don't feel that way anymore

If you want to maximize your ultimate pack, why not get the Mi Box S? Unifi TV app now works without having to use the mod version. On top of that you can use the proper Netflix app to get full hd and 4k resolution... unlike the unifi plus box (UPB) where you have to use a modded, old Netflix mobile APK to get full hd resolution. Not forgetting that you can't sideload apps without using adb method.

As for me, I was considering getting the UPB due to the now defunct "RM10 installment plan" for existing users Won't consider it at all if sold at full price (RM240)

For certified boxes like Mi Box S and Nvidia Shield, you can just download the Unifi TV directly from the playstore.. the 'Unifi Plus Box only' restriction is no longer there since version 1.2.2

For downloaded version from playstore, will it play it Full HD also in our tv?

Don't know what their brain doing or agreement issued, such a good channel such as Red HBO previously also removed.

Nowadays in Unifi TV langsung nothing much channel to watch.. Unless you go for FOX Movies..
I plan to use this box for old folk watching local channels n news like asxxx which can able to use remote control press by numbering..

If tell the old folk using the wireless keyboard mini to control and watch channels, they feel very troublesome and don't know hw to use...
If using wireless keyboard mini like that, I think they won't be watch the channels..

At the end, I pay for RM30/mth tv package just like throw to the sea...
N some-more cannot remove channels..

I guess that is why the option left for Unifi plus box is by subscribing to ultimate pack, since more channel means more attraction

Also, if unifi plus box enables channel change by pressing number like Astro ubox, elderly may use them at ease, but the remote itself does not have number button

Not necessary get the unifi box, other atv boxes will do as itsy much better spec

Use white stb box install playunifi apps (use my friez account already terminate) to watch local channels..

End up the UI change everything until cannot access "My Application".. Damn block everything..
