i received this too. i read their FAQ the fees is for 24 months... might as well get other tv box and install their apps there.

Background: I had Astro for the living room the old HyppTV set up box in the master bedroom. I've dropped my Astro subsription and got two Unifi Plus Box for both rooms. I don't have a radio set (gave it away because it took too much space).

Question: I used to listen to local radio stations using Astro, but I've never had access to any radio stations on the old HyppTV. Is there a realiable way to listen to local radio stations using the new Plus Box?

I tried installing a web browser (can't remember what it was called) but the sound kept stuttering and it wouldn't shut off if I switched back to the UnifiTV app to watch TV.

I dont have unifi plus box..

So, I'm just wondering, isnt there any radio apps that you can download.. Nowadays, all radio has their own apps already for live streaming.. and for international radio, we can use shoutcast apps.. I dont know whether it can be downloaded in unifi plus box.. I'm not giving opinion here. I'm actually asking a question..

One of the first things I tried was searching for RTM Mobile. It never appeared in the search results, so I looked it up on the Play Store via the web browser and it specifically mentions in the list of devices I own that it is not compatible with the Plus Box.

I'm not really bothered about international stations or other music streaming services, I'm just looking for local radio stations like traxx, lite FM, etc...

If your TV supports DVB-T2, get indoor aerial and use that instead. Should be able to receive non-Astro radio stations

play store got many radio app after install change to local radio or install astro syok. some app must use PC install into this unifi plus box. sure you can use this unifi plus box to listen local radio . if you want good sound effect also can connect to bluetooth device

Add on rm20 for box? Still need to subscribe TV package from unifi?
