QUOTE(leo_kiatez @ Jul 9 2020, 10:34 AM) Still unsure on the revised rate. Will it last since the opr cut? Enjoy while it last, when you hesitate and delay in opening the acc, u already lose the daily interest since SCB is count based on daily balance, not like OCBC, once change rate, whole month follow... moreover, SCB gave 21 days notice based on last revision...

Anybody received call regarding bundle FD promo? I asked to explain further but the officer insisted to meet so that they can better explain the promo. QUOTE I'm xxxx from Standard Chartered Bank who calling you just now.
Currently we have bundle FD promotion : 3 mths 11.75 % 6 mths 7.30 % 12 mths 3.75 %
You can choose either 3 or 6 mths as more worth it. After maturity then we will help you put back into your PSA account to earn the PSA interest rates.

For those who got auto-upgraded to Premium Banking last or last two months, according to my banker, she said this is not allowed unless you consented to the upgrade either receiving a call or an email from SC.

QUOTE(mamamia @ Jul 11 2020, 12:10 AM) Do u have debit card link to ur account? I spend 1k on my credit card. I already got a hunch that if i go for Islamic PSA, the spend must be on debit card as shown in website. I specifically asked the banker last month when I apply for PSA, he said credit card also can. aiya. looks like I have to go to branch and migrate my PSA to non Islamic one. or if anyone knows how I can do it online, I'd appreciate it.

I also spent before opening account. Asked the RM if that will count towards the 1k cc spend criteria for the month..she said NO...only take into account CC spendings after account opening date ALSO DIE2 must apply for debit card to get the bonus interest.(one of the conditions in TnC) Thought I can opt out as I already have online access via the CC. Still early days for me...baru buka account this month...so no interest credited yet. Nothing in the tnc says anything about dB card spending .(for conventional PrivilegedSavers).Don't know about the Islamic version though This post has been edited by ??!!: Jul 12 2020, 01:05 AM
