Sitiawan got so many Chinese, old and young who barely understand Malay. Very difficult to communicate when they go to hospital to get treatment. Have to call other doctors who know mandarin or other dialects. Problem when patients too many and all doctors are too busy.

I personally know one guy who straight after school helped his sisters operate a hardware shop. Initially very bad BM. Struggle to communicate but after a few years he manned the shop now fluent already. I say 90 percent of his customers are Malay.

yes u can survive, but does that means ure integrated into the society? BM not important? good point, fair enough... but ENGLISH? if u say english oso not important, mati la ini machiam... how do u interact with the society other than ur own race? sure, u can survive, but ure not integrated into the society! u dont integrate into the society, more prejudism arise ! and that is also, A FACT!

old ppl understandable la... olden days, our education system is of low quality, and u need to be privileged in order to have education but today? in this era? hogwash..bullshit.. that just mean u dont want to mingle with other races

Yang penting sekali, tolong gunakan bahasa Melayu yang rasmi dengan tatabahasa yang betul dan tepat. Janganlah mencampur perkataan bahasa Inggeris atau kata-kata singkatan kerana ini merupakan halangan untuk pengguna BM rasmi seperti saya untuk membaca dan memahami.

The last group should lose their rights temporarily as citizen. Like someone said, UK US Canada Australia wants you to be decent in Language and their History for PR consideration. A Malaysian requirement, is less than the "decent" level - you gotta be at least Fair & just the language, don't even include the history. Fair enough to go gov office to talk/talk to cops/able to talk and listen to medical services/the market/getting food.

Give them old SRP or current PMR BM papers to pass first, then citizen rights like driving learning/voting/purchase finance banking/dealing with gov is restored.

Doesn't matter if "you are not really good" - your citizenship is secure and protected. Can order mamak? Can talk to your neighbours? Ok good rakyat.

Back to topic, those 16 17 year old but totally kennot speak or pass Malay language - lucut. Learn it to basic asas level. Still young. Once pass the exam, given back citizen rights or else goodbye seek your fortune at other country at age of 30. Are they even a citizen at all.

Want to look at JPN? To apply already need memadai and asas, for the very old pipul who go through war/no school.

meanwhile ang moh language must kowtow. if u dun belip, try telling ppl u speak french vs u speak khmer. reaction from those group will be vastly different.
