Chinese people don’t like Maszlee because he is more islamic than any EM..

Malay dont like Maszlee because his black shoes, simpang renggam tol issue.

Indian no issue with Maszlee.
Maszlee will still be EM if Thanos not in PH, but truth told, without Thanos, I dont think PH can win the GE.

Anyhow, we lost good EM, the Khat issue is small, but hatred from non malay towards Maszlee decision was on it was bigger than the issue..

Should sack the DEM that allow such propaganda comic..

Black shoe policy, it may have won the hearts of parent as they no longer need to wash the shoe weekly. But have you imagine the smells of the black shoe not wash for a year, worn by 50 students inside a classroom. Then multiply by the no of class in a school. I cant imagine how smelly it would be.

For free quality breakfast, where do you think the money comes from? Its from taxpayer money definitely. And who will get these kind of lucrative contracts with high markup price? Go figure.

If the shoes got smelly, do we need to put the blame on the policy. It’s on the parents who are not hygienic. As for the breakfast, it’s a good approach for kids. Having hood breakfast is good for them. The contract is another thing. Don’t mix good policy with poor governance. They need to improve governance as they said that they are transparent and whatnot. As a taxpayer, of course we want good governance and the benefit is return to the people.

That actually valid if u in seller's shoes pun intended. They still need to sell that shoes.

And that is problem with this edu minister. Its good he leap into action. But he never seem to sit down and think of the consequences no matter how small. Just like jawi, straight off making it compulsory and then back track to optional after backlash. Like even if u think jawi is just khat for artistic only, a lot of non will view it with suspicioan especially after the whole medan dakwah on borneo incident. And that's another thing, maszlee seem more interested in shoving Islam into things than issue that PH has promised to resolve like the long standing UEC. I don't like mandarin btw even though cina. But if u promise something, handle that one first than jumping into stupid ones.
*
yeah his downfall is he's not that self-aware(or don't care?) of the nuance needed in navigating these issues but his ministry is a vital one that is producing quality human capital in nation building thus it seems like he wanted to fix the supporting structure first before the pillar itself

a bit too idealistic and doesn't bother about all the politicking

that's why he's the first one to get the guillotine - the harsh reality of administrating Malaysia where more is focused on remaining in power instead of doing what's best for the country while still on the throne

"On other issues - free quality breakfast, opening up hotel swimming pools to students, doing away with streaming and exams, making education accessible to OKUs and undocumented children..."
GOOD or BAD, cannot be dictated by what was done. It is the end result. Yes, I opened 1000 schools, I done that.  ....What was the result?.  Doing something does not mean GOOD ultimately.

Example:  Quality breakfast....how was this program undertaken?

Purpose:
good eating habits and civic consciousness about food.

Funding:

The free breakfast programme, he said will be handled the same way as the current Supplementary Food Programme (RMT) and prepared by the schools' respective canteens.

290 million ringgit will be used to fund this.

What meals?
:  (50 million) Milk and "other foods" What is the list?.....none?. 250 million goes to the actual "food" (unknown as well).

How long?:  190 days.
I am skeptical of such "general" planning. Could do better than give a chart of what kids eat in canteen/school today  VS  what are the food plans. Aside terminating canteen contracts.

Most of us are grown up in our kids days with
a) ice popsickles
b) bee hoon / noodle soup
c) fried rice
d) maybe some ice milo/soda drink
e) those crap sugar stuff that cost from 10 to 50 cents.

so...what is this program replacing?...
250 million isn't much to be honest for ALL schools.

We have 7773 primary schools today.
For 190 days, for 7773 schools there.... each gets an allocation of
$170 per day.

If there are total 170 primary students (standard 1-6) ....what kind of "Quality" breakfast can you get with $1 ?.
It's NOT a genius math, it's just there..... RM$170 per day, per primary school.

I told ktards last time
This mamak is master at politics.
Blowing jawi out of proportion is his doing. his minions daim and rafidah is the propaganda machine.

there is no honesty with mamak politics, only backstab in stealth mode.

I am guessing his cronies being cut off by maszlee.

This is the reason why he resigned twice...

"He did not budge when student groups protested his appointment in September 2018 as IIUM president.

These activists were unhappy as they felt that it went against a Pakatan promise not to have politicians heading academic institutions.

He eventually announced his resignation from the post in January last year.

This delay in stepping down as IIUM president did not help his cause."

It was a bumpy road from the get-go.

Hence the reason I said the shoe issue can be handled better.

I’ll chalk that down to inexperience.

I’d say the Jawi thing, once made compulsory with those 3 pages, stick to your gun.

The medan dakwah thing was really taken out of context. I know him personally, Maszlee. The way he meant dakwah is convincing people to do the right thing, not in religious context. Still, he said it and people misinterpreted it. Hindsight is 20/20 after all.

The UEC thing, they should’ve gone for middle ground. Just say UEC will be recognised but the applicant will need to pass certain qualifications from SPM or STPM as well. That way the promise won’t be broken and will appease the majority as well.

I've already predicted his downfall, but never expected thanos to snap him so fast.

The media loves to ridicule his black shoes nonsense.
Regarding the Khat and Jawi thing is all instructed by Thanos himself as it's a great tactic to distract the masses from bad economy.

Those politicians that wanna stick long will become a headless chicken, no real changes will happen.

For 20months I'd say he did a great job, but the rest of the major decisions like reverting to English to teach maths and science is not his decision to make alone.
*
i also dunno why black shoe become a bullet thing. All i know that black shoe discussion study has been for a while 2 years before election. It is just a coincidence that the decision was done after election

Him being Islamic vs him shoving Islam value on non is different thing. Do u like it if I say every students from now on must wear red and sit in circle cause feng shui? Nothing religion about it and simply artistic value and "luck" but I bet no one will like except fengshui nuts.
*
So where you got the idea of muslim friendly?

Owh, as long as it brings money and profit, suddenly islam value no prob.

Khat and jawi is not islam value, its malaysian value, being part of malaysian identity.

Jawi dont apply in middle east tho khat not entirely in whole region.

I dont have any problem with his or MOE plan, only things need to be clear at the execution level.

He himself can speak several language, including arab and mandarin. He’s way diversed than your sorry ass.
