like how you equal cycling to only one sport. guess not much activity up there for you.

Funny how you diss cycling as a sport when speaking in a cycling forum asking for climbing advise

That 2018 SAER was actually 1 of the toughest edition coz TSG pros were in it, so dont feel so bad u got dropped..  i was barely hanging on myself.

I remember at about KM15 we hit shah alam hilly dragonback section, the pros light it up full gas.. Then when we hit that batu arang fruit valley hilly section it was single filed and full gas all the way until peloton snapped in half. It was a tough tough race.. even hariff salleh didnt finish well that year, i can feel my legs were cramping up on the last km.

The 2017 one was the one I got dropped, 2018 I went with Enduride haha

I don’t get you but you being condescending towards people you don’t know is just hilarious, but it’s a lot easier to troll using an anonymous username

can podium means he knows how to win...
teamwork plays a great part in cycling race...
whether working together with own teammates or opponents.

unless u r in the ITT world, teamwork or drafting is important.

Geno may not be good at climbing (sorry burn u abit), but the routes favors his advantages, he ada chance to win.

Its a sport after all, a "leg-powered-sport" in case someone thinks he knows better than this simple fact.

Rode last night at PNR...
The group was soo dangerous...
Single file to multiple files across 2 or even 3 lanes...
Speed up n down not smooth sailing...

A few close calls for me...

End up I just ride behind and chicken loop cos I sked I might get into a crash...

Some quick pointers
- always ride near the front (+-10 riders or more if all are experienced riders), gives u a good workout and u stay out of trouble. those mini accelerations only happen midpack and below due to inexperienced riders braking instead of feathering their brakes like a clutch.
- always be spatially aware, you are responsible for you own front wheel, dont overlap wheels but try to ride to slightly 1 side of their wheel.
- your front wheel and your handlebar are your most important "square", if your "square" is ahead of another riders "square" in a peloton, u have better control over them if u get bumped.
- be at ease if u get bumped, extend your shoulder on the side u gonna get bumped. Elbows can too but will effect your bike handling
- if u hear freewheeling coming from the front, they are slowing down. good time to move up if u are stuck behind
- feather your brakes when slowing down and soft pedal into it like a clutch
- be predictable, hand signals and be vocal on your intentions
hope it helps

The problem is at the front...
And the common problem of nobody wana pull and those who pull try to blow their own lungs...

Yeah I extended my elbow few times too many to make sure ppl beside n behind know they are getting in my comfort zone...

Meanwhile I think I brought the wrong bike 😂😂😂
