Hmmm.. i also no idea why i’m in Korea region.😅 Usually i’m in Turkey. But since last few month already kena block to buy in Turkey store. So maybe last time i played around with other region to test

Operation Turkiye is a SUCCESS!

managed to buy a game using the reload gift card points!

What I did:
1) Create a new Xbox account using Turkiye address and origin via Turkiye VPN on PC
2) Bought Turkiye giftcard from seagm (eneba, cdkeys also got them)
3) Redeem it via xbox.com/redeem on pc with turkiye VPN
4) Login on XsX with the new Turkiye account, set as main to share the games to other on the same console, buy game using the reloaded gift points, success!

IDK if creating a new Turkiye account is needed for this to work, but for me it's safer and to protect my main account, as there are cases of MS banhammer on those violating their cross region rules.  If kena banhammer then it's this new account only.  All my existing games (200+) in my main account is still safe.

I got them from seagm, cheaper if compared with cdkeys

unable to claim the redeem code TRY. from xbox got error. from PC, with no VPN, state that im from united state. lol

the code won't work with my OG account as well, as it was a US account when I first created it

I already listed out the steps in my previous post, you'll need Turkiye VPN, and create a new xbox account based in Turkiye

I recently moved my Xbox account to New Zealand... if I ask someone over there to redeem the code directly to my account would it work?

from reddit, they said even with VPN, cannot use certain store (argentina, turkey, india, south africa).
next year for RE9, i may change to south korea.
if fail, then no more game pass, no more digital game.

M$ has enable region block for payments in those stores, so your payment method need to be the native payments from those location, ie no foreign CC will be accepted
So VPN is useless in this situation

for the stores still accepting paypal like the US store, then there shouldn't be any issues buying the games using it

and for the stores still accepting gift cards, new account + VPN + gift cards reload is the way to go

should work if the code you tried to redeem is from NZ store
