the receiver got support, tv i dont know lol. but if no eARC, it will be ARC, it is backward compatible.

Haha, but right now in AVForums, it seems like xbox series has some issue if there is AV/ soundbar in between.

Either u lose HDR (Turn off UHD) or u lose Audio Atmos.

Yeah you're right. 2016 model. It must be ARC then. Still, eARC is basically ARC with support for lossless audio. I was just saying that despite the feature being interoperable between manufacturers, sometimes they won't work properly. Probably still some quirks they need to sort out.

Probably because the AV amplifier is not HDMI 2.1? My current Yamaha RX-V685 only has passthrough for up to 4K/60 for example. I'm planning to upgrade to RX-V6A so that everything end-to-end is HDMI 2.1 ready (Xbox-Amplifier-TV).

i will just plug to my TV lol. Sometimes new thing come out, they need to update for compatiblity lo. this HDMI thingy is always a hit and miss, never ending problem lol.

Using the oled b9 atm; it's a great tv for gaming. The Xbox One X shines on it; and hoping that LG continues to push updates so that the series X will run well on it too.

Yup I've subscribed to game pass ultimate for $1 for the first month already. I can't fully utilize it since I don't like shooting (FPS) games, but would consider Cyberpunk just to join in the hype train.

Now I just play UFC 3 lol. Might buy Watchdogs Legion.

ohh if u don like shooter then susah sikit. but u didnt do the gamepass ultimate trick? convert 36 live gold month to gamepass ultimate lol. tat only applies for US account tho. cyberpunk must buy. i think u have access to EA play if u are on gamepass, if u like star wars lightsaber fighting u can try fallen order.

What about Ori and the Will of the Wisps? Or Streets of Rage 4? Gamepass does have other game genres besides shooters. Soul Calibur VI and Tekken 7 are there too. The Forza games are there if you play racing games. Dirt 4 as well.

yeah actually got alot genre and alot of games. but mostly is shooter la those microsoft studios punya game. Ori quite nice, the graphics with HDR is mind blowing man. if u like sports, i think fifa 20 also in already thanks for EA play.

But if ur acc singapore one i not sure la, i heard singapore is abit diff on the gamepass?

Dusted off my x1s yesterday, took almost whole afternoon for the massive updates & game download on my home clogged network

looking at the new UI it's definitely better than the old one, also with the inclusion of the EA pass into the game pass? OMG lembu suci!! there are tonnes of AAA games in there I wanted to play so badly, not to mention I get to play Destiny 2 Beyond Light at launch for "free"??!!
But my X1S is showing it's age, small HDD and it's clicking sounds is making me mad, how I wished for a XsX right now.

i plan to PO and resell but woke up 1hour late, everything gone. I just cant buy it for myself now, because at launch no exclusive game i would like to play. PS plus collection? Most game tat interest me already played. I have more interest in gamepass game, heck i even get destiny 2 beyond light to play full game. And i am a fan of Halo and gears series, so halo 5 and gears 4 and 5 i havent play too. So many games i can play if i buy xbox series X. Sony exclusive game i am in interest is god of war, uncharted only. Last of Us they pretty much fuk up part 2, aint gonna play that franchise anymore.

I had that in mind too, PO & resell, but then I'll turn into a scalper that I hated too, so gotta stand my moral ground
