These region locks went away with the Xbox 360

I regularly get Xbox discs from UK and US, and I buy DLCs using my Singapore Xbox account without any issues whatsoever.

didn't know they've managed to create an adapter for Xbox series, it's cheap, RM60 only, but unfortunately looks like it only supports WD SN530 1Tb SSD, which is kinda rare also
would be great for those who has one lying around

while WD_BLACK 1TB C50 Expansion Card for Xbox - WDBMPH0010BNC-WCSN is about RM800

yeah. they using EC form factor look like good.
just plug it externally, plug n play.
but for years only 1 supplier with Series S price for 1TB... really stupid.

now open to WD, only have 512GB and 1TB that slightly cheaper than Seagate, which still, expensive for such a small storage size.

as the form factor is only for xbox series, doubt the price will drop anytime soon.

I think is because xbox only read specific make and model for the ssd. Microsoft owes like tat lol. Xbox 360 time also.

Xbox 360 would accept any 2.5" HDD. It's easy to replace them, especially for the S and E models, just use a custom plastic case.

I bought a replacement case from AliExpress for around RM9, and then put in a 2TB 2.5" HDD.

As long as it's S and E consoles and updated to the latest dashboard, it can accept maximum 2TB drives. No limitations on brands or speeds.

RGH mod only allows you to directly manipulate the contents of the drive, but a non-modded console can still format a 2TB HDD.

earlier firmware/dashboard did not enable any HDD. need the exact model from WD (if im not mistaken).
last time i mod to 250GB.
