hahaha i dont really get the hype.  Disclosure: only ever played FFVIII and i don't remember much about it - only endless random menu based encounters and some flashy (at the time ) CG cutscenes

Personally, i stand in agreement with the Italian Senate on how fantastic FFVII looks these days.

But is it really necessary?

I also started playing FF series from FF7. If we start from FF7 then most probably we don't understand the hype.
Coz FF series started from 8bit and FF7 is the first FF to be 3D modelled and released in the West.

My XGPU also expired suddenly on 6/16/2022, altho I didn't do anything.

I do have an open tab on Microsoft Edge, for https://www.office.com/ login using the same hotmail account as registered for my Xbox account, but it's been like that few months ago; no error message like what awol experienced, so I think that's not the reason for my case.

Anyway, the guy who helped me did 36 months XGPU (started from Oct 2021), said wait for 1 or 2 more days, see if it's a glitch.

Googled, only few people posted the same issue on Microsoft Community site, but no answers yet.

Xbox has identified a fraudulent group of resellers who were stacking multiple instances of the PC introductory offer and converting it to Game Pass Ultimate. To resolve this issue, we have notified the impacted users individually prior to having their fraudulently acquired subscriptions cancelled.

How did you purchase your GPU ? Cause Microsoft started banning those GPU accounts yesterday if they deem that the purchase was done via illegitimate method ( like Shopee etc perhaps)

For those who got their GPU cancelled, by chance did you guys bought those GPU from shopee via seller activate for you method?

Your friend doesn't need to login to office.com for the account to be flagged.

Possible that the seller using stolen CC.

Check your "shopee bought" xgpu account, the email history there should have one email with the 4 digit credit card mentioned.

MS still can trace those gift cards bought from stolen CC

I think we need to pin a huge warning here in this forum to warn potential GPU buyers to stay away from the shopee/Lazada GPU sellers

so far so good, haven't heard anyone having issues from them

VPN is not the issue.  I had to use a VPN to claim US XBL Gold.  It would only allow me to do so once i changed my territory to US - from UK where it was originally registered.  In my experience, somewhere along the way, they region locked the xbl gold codes.  My advice is to proceed with caution.

how bout if we buying XBL straight from xbox store, if can buy no prob right?
