Damn, everytime i visited this thread the temptation is getting stronger.
Both viewty and g800 take decent shots.
Viewty win in user interface but g800 has no competition with its 3xoptic. zoom.

Does anybody know the free printer package still on?

Yeah it's still on. I've checked it out with shops in Mid Valley, 1 Utama, and my supplier and they all still carry printers.

Not sure abt other shops though.

Hey guys, not sure if you know this, but you can brighten up your dark pictures using something called Smart Light.

Just go to My Stuff -> My Images -> Select Image and click "View" -> Click on options on the bottom left of screen -> Then click Smart Light

and Presto! Instant brighter picture with out any discoloration! rclxms.gif

Hope this might be of some use to you guys.

I hardly use smartlight. It tend to make my night image more noisy.

Use ISO400 or 800 to take the shot, it should brighten up your image considerably. But beware it will also introduce noise though. The image looks kind of blurry and lost focus, have you turn on the image stabilizer?

How is the image compare to this one?

I took this with my U1000.
Checked yesterday in Gurney Plaza LG counter(they had a viewty promotion counter there), being told that the printer bundle offer was due on yesterday. Anyone know is this true or not?

Hey guys, the viewty is supposed to have a feature in the phonebook whereby you can search for contacts through alphabet tabs on the left. The icon is supposed to be a magnifying glass to the right of the name search field.

However, I seem to be missing this function on my phone. Has anyone ever encountered this problem before?

Here is the latest shootout between Sammy G808, KU990, N82 and N95:-

It seems like N82 is very good, only lose out to Sammy G808 in zoom test.
For Viewty, you can take a very good photos provided you span a lot of time tweak the setting.

u know what guys? i think the reason why lot of viewty pics are blur are bcos
1) fingerprints on the lens
2) macro mode off
3) image stabiliser (sometimes could be the culprit)

I don't have that feature either. Guess it's different firmware.
