Guys, I'm soon to be a fellow viewty owner myself.

Did a tonne of research and found this interesting piece of device.
It uses the microsd slot in the phone to add wifi capabilities!!!

Sadly though, it only works for windows CE and Mobile

But thought I could post it up here so that all viewty owners could probably search for a way to get wifi on this beauty.

I'm trying to gather a lil more info, do any viewty owners regret their purchase so far?

Also on a side note, I can get a viewty phone for RM1880 with 1Gig sd for anyone interested.

Played around with the viewty today. It really looks good but there's one downside to it.
It seems that the keyboard for sms's isn't as accurate as the iPhone. Damn....

Also, I noticed when trying to take pictures, the view screen seems a little fuzzy. Can anyone confirm this?

Yeah baby! Another proud viewty owner over here!! I managed to get my hands on it for RM 1880 + 1GB RAM + Printer!

Yeah it's still on. I've checked it out with shops in Mid Valley, 1 Utama, and my supplier and they all still carry printers.

Not sure abt other shops though.

I'd like to see the iPhone do better

Hey guys, not sure if you know this, but you can brighten up your dark pictures using something called Smart Light.

Just go to My Stuff -> My Images -> Select Image and click "View" -> Click on options on the bottom left of screen -> Then click Smart Light

and Presto! Instant brighter picture with out any discoloration!

Hope this might be of some use to you guys.

Hey guys, the viewty is supposed to have a feature in the phonebook whereby you can search for contacts through alphabet tabs on the left. The icon is supposed to be a magnifying glass to the right of the name search field.

However, I seem to be missing this function on my phone. Has anyone ever encountered this problem before?

Anyone managed to find any good IM apps and web browsers that can take advantage of the QWERTY keyboard?

Also, I've been trying to search for IM programs that can make those free voice calls like those on MSN.... anyone knows where I can get a hold of it?

Lol..... fixing problems on phones is part of after sales service

hm... did you try to charge your phone for at least 10 hours the first time you bought it?
Usually once it hits 2 bars, the battery can still last another day. However, once it hits one bar it dies off pretty quickly.

If you've charged the batt for 10 hours the first time you bought it, means the battery could be faulty. You might wanna check it out.

Also, what kinda theme are you using? 'Cos some themes may eat up battery more than others. Just a thought.
