It has a section for bukan Islam, so I guess it covers ASM. Its this for beneficiary nomination? So when someone pass away, do they follow the last Will or do they follow nomination form only (like EPF)?

yes. only for ASNB unit. one Pengisytiharan Amanah can cover all ASNB product in your account.


If have Pengisytiharan Amanah, then the claim process is like 30 days. No need to wait for court order. Just like EPF nomination. Faster process.
If using Will, then have to wait for LA or GP document.

Hi guys, please help. Anyone know how to troubleshoot this problem?
I just registered a account at myasnb, after fillinf up everything then when i lock it a page comes up to verify job occupation, i fill up everything and request for taq but i still get a error message failed??? Already tried 3 times...

I am aware of this issue last week when I login and ASNB asked me to change my password to a stronger one but I can't submit the filled form after obtaining TACs. I bypassed the system by pretending that I forgot my password, so I changed my password through "forgot my password" page.

I suppose you need to contact ASNB for help on this. Something is not right with their webscript, I suppose.

From the look of it, I need to get this witnessed by a "Majistret / Jaksa Pendamai / Pentadbir Tanah / Notari Awam / Pesuruhjaya Sumpah / Peguam Bela dan Peguam Cara Mahkamah Tinggi Malaya" before I go submit to ASN? I already submitted the preliminary online copy.

Remember one LYN forumer mention, the ASNB office got Pesuruhjaya Sumpah, dunno is Jln Tun Razak or Shah Alam branch. Maybe you can call ASNB office to find out, RMCO might have diff working hour.

Yes, you need to have your documents or form (can't remember) certified by a notary person. So I had to visit a Commissioner for Oaths.

Do note that unlike will, it's not that "customisable", at least what I was told when I did mine. So for me, I only stated everything goes to waifu.

Example, if you give it to wife, you cannot add "in the event wife dies within 30 days from you, the units then go to the son". This clause is usually added in wills to address the concert about both will owner and beneficiary dying at the same time, for example in accidents.
When someone gives to waifu, what happens if both die in an accident? In asnb P.A,, afaik, the husband's units still go to the dead wife. How the units will move after this, I guess depends on the wife's will.

I did at Putrajaya PNB. No need to look for Jaksa Pendamai / certification true copismof document. They have Jaksa Pendamai there. One stop all there just wait and signed the prepared documents
