QUOTE(farizmalek @ May 7 2021, 08:50 AM) Baru tahu. premier service can buy more funds without click click with apps ?ASNB Premier Service. |

QUOTE(Vector88 @ Aug 28 2021, 10:35 PM) if got >1M in EPF and put up to 60K in EPF voluntarily every year, then can withdraw anytime, isn't it? (have to leave 1m in EPF though) There are some conditions for the 60k to be paid interest if I’m not mistaken. The reason is discourage withdrawal but keep Epf as long term investment |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Sep 1 2021, 05:54 PM) Possibilities is there... becoming harder since they limit 10 tries per 5 mins .This time... Unit is non existent for first time since I invested years ago.... Maybe not my luck??? Used to be so easy just click click click and Captcha codes , 10K, 15K... some people got 20K one go.... best time was before the online purchase, just go to Bank and staffs there will try few minutes can get 5K, 10K... EPF vs PNB PNB - more liquid, dividends lower than EPF , but that may change in years ahead as economy improves EPF - only can partially withdraw at 50, good for those nearing 50, can treat deposit to EPF as "fixed deposit". Downside, not liquid TOS liked this post

QUOTE(blibala @ Sep 2 2021, 12:55 PM) Until today i dare not put big amounts in sspn. Worry one day they might change withdrawal requirements and money get locked inside. if you are close to 50 years old, consider pushing your money into EPF. Treat it as a 5 years FD that gives you 5% per annum. (compounded for 5 years would probably give you 30% wealth increase , and can cover for inflation). |

QUOTE(Zeroxhunter @ Jan 12 2022, 04:47 PM) That is hard cap limit. Not the soft cap. Softcap limit will increase based on the dividend every year. someone said that you can write in to PNB to increase the cap from 200K to 300K....I forgot who says this before. There are 2 capping. 1. Hard-cap, which is RM200k 2. Soft-cap, which is the total amount of dividend earned since the opening of the account So if you are smart and start your ASB financing at 200k since you start working, after 5 years, your account would balloon to RM280k. If you take out RM80k for personal use, you can still put it back (the RM80k) into the account using cash. |

QUOTE(MattSally @ Jan 21 2022, 12:20 PM) Officially that is anyone's guess but I have been told, by someone who should know, that there is a correlation (albeit not 100%) between Bank Rate (OPR) and PNB dividends. It makes sense. If OPR goes up then all other bank rates (including FD) go up and PNB needs to remain considerably more competitive than FD due to the different risk exposures - Low for PNB v Nil for FD. means rising rates is only good for nett savers, not net borrowers. |

QUOTE(hustlerism @ Feb 16 2022, 05:38 PM) Question: Financially speaking, whichever that gives you the higher interest.Would you put your cash into your Full Flexi House Mortgage account to offset the interest? OR Would you rather put that cash into ASB? However, this is dependent on your preference. Some people, don't like to sleep with debt and have more happiness and peace of mind settling their debt. Mental wellbeing needs to take into consideration to. Some people are ok with 500,000 debt and 1 million ASNB ... some are ok with Zero debt and 500,000 ASNB. i ... dont like debt..., as it affects my wellbeing... have to keep looking at interest rate...goes up, repayment also go up..
