QUOTE(nexona88 @ Sep 3 2024, 01:55 PM) Always I said.. Depending on your age & balance in EPF If age already 55yo or got 1mil above in EPF... Then no brainer... EPF heavy all the way... If age below 55yo & No 1mil in EPF... Then it's ASMx fund heavy 👌 you would 100% EPF, 0% ASM if you > 55 or 1 million ? isn't that a bit dangerous to put everything in one basket.

QUOTE(Iceman74 @ Sep 3 2024, 04:13 PM) Do you think if KWSP goes under.. Malaysia RM, ASM and economy can stay alive? Unless your saving in cold hard cash foreign currency or gold, everything related with Malaysia will tank also question is, will EPF consistently outperformed ASM? ASM outperformed EPF in the 2010s and 2000s. 7-8% maybe those days are over

QUOTE(MattSally @ Sep 4 2024, 07:29 AM) ASM3 will, almost certainly, be 4.75% imho. The important dividend (whether you are invested in the fund or not) will be ASB1 at the end of December as it will determine the upper limit of all the other FP funds (ASB & ASM) for the following 12 months. My own view is that ASB1 should declare at least 5.75% and, if we are lucky, 6.0%. This would pave the way for at least 5% in all ASM FP funds in 2025 and maybe 5.5% to 5.75% for ASB2 and ASB3. I wouldn't say that the good times are back yet, but better times are on their way I think. Indeed. The thing about asnb is my sentiment after taking so much effort over the years chasing the limited units. So it’s kind of sentimental to sell it off but I know it’s logical to put money into epf that has more returns. But I’ll withdraw a bit from asnb to put inside epf

QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Sep 16 2024, 02:21 PM) i self contributed into the EPF. But it doesn't reflect in the account yet. How long does it take to reflect ya? 2 working days (minus weekend/Public holidays) If deposit morning on the working day, usually by tomorrow afternoon it will be reflected in the account provided it's a working day. Don't worry, it won't get lost. Got money trail one.

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Jan 16 2025, 04:43 PM) Thanks to rumours on Chinese media on Rates cuts... So everyone is like rushing towards ASMx funds to locked their $$$ & get acceptable rates temporary 😁 Rate cuts ? Thought inflation is coming up this year

QUOTE(MattSally @ Jul 18 2025, 10:07 PM) I agree there is no shortage of demand but what I find interesting is the persistent 'need' for ASNB to continually attract new investment/investors. I may be overthinking it a little. they do it every year to get new funds in the past remember ? just during the covid time, the new units actually frozen due to many people selling probably
