I am a bit uncomfortable that the units can be transferred online.

i mean is it possible for hackers to get the credentials of the ASNB account and password, and log into the account and transfer out all the money to other account?

But if stock market recovering , indirectly PNB funds return also would recover. For me better to leave money to professionals to play the stock market. Speaking from extremely conservative and risk averse person.

we could be moving into that direction with declining population growth, and aging population - like Thailand.

The era of 4-5% return may be over.... but i could live with that if inflation remains low

i can live with 3% return if our inflation is 0-0.5% like singapore.

but high inflation and high return also good in one way - helps to pay off loan!!

And new CEO not yet announced. I think Mr Wahid did a very good job at PNB.

wanted to put some in EPF, but PNB is more liquid than EPF (only can withdraw in future).

a lot of things can change in the next 1 year, new CEO coming in, economy recovery is projected, GE with very clear majority and stable government. For me there is guarded optimisim.

We may see the worse of PNB performance, it can only go up nearing 5% this year, but hitting 6% is unlikely.
