not sure if the half face helmets are still legal in malaysia... but in malaysia u need ECE or Sirim to be street legal... if it only has DOT is not street legal.

I emailed a China helmets manufacturer, and was told that DOT helmets are lesser than ECE. Most distributors or resellers would buy the DOT grade and sell online. Unfortunately, for the same brand, they make helmets for bicycle and mopeds <30cc. Hence, we'd see a range of ECE, DOT, <30cc moped and bicycle helmets. For DOT, I think it allows steng helmet.

Can I bump? Need helmet recomendation. Broke my Xdot gp2500 in accident. Now don't want to wear cheap helmet anymore. Criteria :
1. Budget around rm400
2. Full face
3. Removable padding
4. Have easy sparepart.
5. Double visor.
6. At least UN ECE 22.05 certified. I don't trust DOT.

There is a nolan xlite msia fb page, run by qbee motor, they are the distributor, can go ask them.
Or you try call welly batu caves to check if they hv this model.
Bell is also dist by qbee motor jb.

Some suggestion above for under 500 ff helmet.
or can check some ls2, kyt.. these have jpj sticker if it is not grey import.

Zeus helmet maybe is cheap, make sure get from reliable source.

Bought helmets on Lazada & Shopee.

It's a bit of a lottery, coz you won't know what you'll end up getting.

Anyone tried MHR OF622? Comments? Looking for a half face to run errands nearby. Putting on a full face is getting a little troublesome for a 5 minutes ride. haha
