Anyone tried MHR OF622? Comments? Looking for a half face to run errands nearby. Putting on a full face is getting a little troublesome for a 5 minutes ride. haha

QUOTE(alexei @ Nov 18 2020, 09:27 PM) MHR has been a Chinese helmet brand, but imported by Malaysian agent. Some of the earlier LS2 models were actually spinned off from existing MHR models not available in Malaysia. That time, flagship LS2 fullface helmets were sold at RM200 each. Initially, their major breakthrough was motocross helmets. Since then, fed up with weird weird name brands and won't buy until I research thoroughly. Interesting. Yes, there are a lot of weird brands out there but if it's below RM100 I think it's safe to say it can't be trusted. Only buying ECE approved helmet, but realised some LS2 have limited parts in Malaysia. I got an FF370 and legit can't find a pinlock visor seller.Anyhow, many helmets are made in China these days. Few models can be found with SNELL approval. Even Jiekai has ECE approved helmets using ABS material, but those are not sold on Shopee. Only DOT approved Jiekai are, and limited to few models only. On the bad side, some Shopee helmets are actually certified for mopeds under 30cc, and are not safe for road use. |

QUOTE(alexei @ Nov 19 2020, 09:20 PM) Ask them here: https://shopee.com.my/ls2helmets_malaysia Just the pinlock shield though. I found a few visors but with a drop down sun visor I don't think I want a tinted one haha!I think you want the pinlock shield, but you can get new visor there too. QUOTE(basilisk @ Nov 20 2020, 03:40 AM) For those that ask ff below rm400, can check out LS2 ff370, This is the one I have right now. Not bad, all washable liners. It's my first helmet so I have nothing to compare it to on wind noise.it is modular helmet that received 4star rating from sharp. The locking is 100% secure during the entire test. ![]() ![]() |

QUOTE(Air Hendrix @ Dec 22 2020, 05:01 PM) Sorry is this has been asked before. Is pinlock visor really is needed when traveling around SEA? Thanks it will be ideal, but antifog spray works too. It doesn't fog up as much, but when it rains it will help loads, esp when you can't crack open your visor when water is gushing everywhere. |

QUOTE(ExCrIpT @ Dec 23 2020, 12:05 PM) i am also looking for a solution to this also, but do you think an anti fog insert is better? will it obstruct vision especially the borders. i can't find an antifog insert for my helmet, so I am kinda stuck with the anti fog spray. There are those universal inserts, haven't tried them yet. |

QUOTE(jaycee1 @ Aug 5 2021, 11:31 PM) I'm looking for a midrange helmet to supplement my MT Atom SV as posted in my post above. I tested the ZS-1800, feels good. Slightly heavier (for a carbon helmet) due to the double visor, rather they do without it. Fits good for oval head.Budget about 1k. Full face since I already have a modular for city use. Primarily for highway use, so lighter weight, noise and aero is appreciated. dual Visor would be nice. Currently looking at Scorpions exo 2000 and Zeus' new 1800B carbon helmet. Anyone with experience with them? The Zeus seems pretty well spec'ed. Carbon shell, 2 density EPS..1389g in M size. Selling for 950. You can test it out at GBS. I am eyeing for the ZS-1900 (fibreglass, without internal visor), just waiting for sales. |

QUOTE(ExCrIpT @ Aug 17 2021, 09:27 AM) just wondering how many helmets do you guys own. everytime i see a nice design, feel like buying but its a total waste of money. I've got 2 right now. Same like you, open face for nearby, and a modular for proper use. Planning to get a full face and that's it.i have one open face for nearby travel and a full face helmet. Never seemed to get designs though, I just get the ones that are in stock during offers |
