Does anyone have any experience/ thoughts about the Airoh Commander helmet? Or anywhere in Klang Valley which carries them?

Or are there shops that accept old helmet trade ins?

Usually HJC will do trade-in deals once or twice a year ~ you may keep it for trade in, but they're usually C70 series which i'm using for 3 years +

Anyone would get the shark gt carbon over the shoei? Both feels very high quality.

I got the gt carbon. Comfort wise its nice.
But wind noise protection not that good.
Make sure to wear earplug. 150-160+ kmh got whistling + wind noise after a while.
Can close the vents to avoid it but gonna be hot.

Shoei padding is definitely more comfortable and premium.

any1 got suggestion for modular/full face helmet?

currently using LS2 valiant 2 XXL, i still feel my ears pain after a long ride but this is so far the only helmet i could wear without my forehead felt cramp.
the only brand i never tried is arai/shoei due to their price is over budget.

Have you tried HJC or Scorpion? Nexx is good as well but that is in the range of Shoei and Arai

all the shop i went dont have my size 2XL or 3XL.

3XL is very rare to have in stock. Guess have to call them first before you visit the shop. Some will require a deposit for them to bring in stock which I totally don't agree with

hi all, want to ask, i'm using shark spartan rs, should the helmet padding be wet after a rain? i realize mine is not only wet for the bottom part, its like the whole helmet padding is wet too, i have my air vents closed before rain

I use shark spartan gt pro carbon, similar design with spartan rs and no leak when under rain.
Usually I keep the mouth vent open even during rain, no wet inside. Just around the neck and chin area because of rain splashing.

thats weird... mine tend to be wet for the paddings inside, understandable for the chin and bottom of the helmet part

Best way see if theres any leaking is pour water when your helmet is dry.
Try pouring on the top opening for sliding inner visor.
