Leaving the inverter inside the living room is a bad idea as it dissipate the heat in your room. Higher power inverter also emit a hyme when its running.
Good thing is you installed a junction box, i have seen enough junction boxes blow and it burns when it do due to DC current arcing. Another reason bad idea to have it indoors.
