Currently thought of just buying mini genset

U can build a structure higher than the tree, and yes, sometime genset is better to
Except that it is noisy at night (cant hear durian fall) and cost you a lot more for the fossil fuel (storage+purchase+maintenance)
Most people put the genset far from the living cabin, then tomorrow ilang

If stay there maybe solar more worth

Because only target go on weekend
So if use solar duno until when can get back roi...

Btw what's the ballpark figure for 1kW?
It is still around RM5K/kW?

hence off-grid is the best rather than thinking of making money from solar power (selling to the grid)
until the market is matured and battery technology is matured, yes it is good, but for now, thrive

I see
For smaller capacity the cost is slightly higher then

The factory where I was working previously was offered around that figure but at a larger capacity multiple times
Guess cannot just simply do a random calculation by dividing RM/kW

QUOTE(azreeceli @ Nov 6 2019, 03:47 PM)
basically the aircond can't run longer than 4 hours
because my unit is just 1kw system

But other appliances is autonomous for 2.5 days sunny / cloudy days
But if i change my aircond to inverter model, it will run up to 8 hours due to lower power consumption
But now looking to source DC Power Aircond except low BTU

Inverter is 3KW Pure Sine
*
Wow inverter aircond save half of the electrical energy
