but do you really bother ?

nowadays a lot of ppl have solar panel + grid tie inverter (from China) , total setup cost for 500W is around RM1.3k , just use to offset power consumption, is not to power your whole house.

500w very small wor. One day 3 sun hour = 1500kwh. Can only power 1hp aircond for 1 hour only.
However its still good as a beginner system.

Go youtube look for 18650 powerwall projects if you're comfortable with lithium technology.

i am , but that battery pack is a bit too much for me right now, i still have to play with BMS first. And BMS is pretty costly , a 16 cell BMS is roughly 1k and then slaving each pack to a main BMS is another level of complexity

waaa what BMS you looking at? rm1k? USA product ar?

Almost accidentally burn my finger.

During solder the minus terminal side, the long solder lead touch the bottom 18650 + side cell. While my finger holding the lead.

Instantly the solder lead melt and my finger holding the lead feel the burning. Immediately flung away the lead.

Lucky the lead act as a fuse. Otherwise will get burn mark.  sweat.gif

Have to handle very very carefull for lithium.  sweat.gif

Yesterday I also kena burn wire case.
Was testing a 48v to 12v adapter, connected using 24awg dupond pin wire.
Turn the electronic load from 10w to 100w and straight whole wire catch fire.
Scary. cry.gif
