sometimes the apps behave to detect rooted phone and try to avoid unsecured phone access.
disabling acct is way to protect your acct being expose to risk.

try to check if your phone is ok or try other phone.

After 9 days still no sign that they’re processing my physical card. Do they send in app notifications once they ship it? Or we need to regularly check our own mailbox?

i don't think there is notification. you may however email the CS to get an update.

somehow they screwed up your login token at the backend. try ask them to purge the old tokens (user, login, fingerprint) so that you can login as "fresh"
