PS3 supports 2.1 through RCA, 5.1 through optical and 7.1 through HDMI, am I right?

so if you use RCA, you'll get 5.1 but not true 5.1 with all the panning and everything

Tests have shown that placing your PS3 horizontal is better interms of heat.

If you're connecting to the internet using the built-in Wifi, it's better off in a vertical position, as the wireless module is located on top of the PS3 when it's standing.

On a serious note: Try finding a v1.3 HDMI cable not a v1.1. If you use v1.1 cable, it's possible that you won't get to 720p/1080i/1080p only 480p/576p.

Mgsrulz, u seriously want to put ur ps3 side by side with the ps2 like that ? cause the ventilation of the right side of ur ps3 is not good la if like that.

aren't all HDMI cables the same? it's the hardware that determines its version.

do they work well with ps3 games?
i feel it has way too much bass for my liking
watch movie,can hardly hear the actors speak


yeah..

It's ok with ps3 games but the voices are a bit soft like with movies. It lacks the mids that's why. But it's the only speakers I have and I don't really feel like investing in another set of speakers yet....too many games that needs buying
