thats the reason dun get all built in. 360 cam need a lot graphic processing, while android itself already using some of the resources already, so dun hope it will work like charm....

and 1 day later, ur 350 cam got issue, you gonna need to replace the whole this also...

Nowadays, many android head unit in the market are using rubbish processor. the spec may be 4Gb ram 32/64gb storage but it's slow response due to cheap processor.. especially when loading power hungry google map.

was searching for android HU for my k3, but in the end settled for kenwood 5020s with apple carplay. android auto

just cuck usb and settle

android headunit is good for various different apps if you need it, but 90% of driver who only need a good smart phone integration with "driving usable" apps like sportify, maps and waze, or even siri / google speech, these carplay / android auto headunit is more than sufficient, and safer to be use on road.

If I import a HU from other countries, do I need to apply for SIRIM?

used android player and i dont really like, still prefer old skool brand like pioneer, sony and kenwood. the sound produced by android hu is just plain sucks compared to major brand.

and the selling points of many accessory shops is android HU already comes with build in DSP, which i think its just 24 bit equalizer

DSP is good but for me the real deal is the sound output. 4v or 5v RCA output. Android hu seems to not be able to pump enough juice for components speaker

recently bought an S brand HU at shopee, the top end 6gb one. Sendiri DIY install, my car is preve. but the previous installer help me install 1st HU they cut off the socket and sendiri rewire. So i cannot use the plug and play socket.

So sendiri splice everything and do the wiring follow the proton HU plug diagram and also the socket. 1st time start can run, but later test audio no sound from right side. then suddenly the soud jumbled then turned off. cannot turn on back edi. i tot is cable loose because wiring not good, but then test the socket got power.

Then bring back open up, saw the power management IC fried and a resistor beside it. Not sure is how it was fried, because i use external ampflier for my front and subwoofer. Now sendiri source IC and resistor to repair. Will post again after repair. The shop guy not very eager to honor the warranty, because he say i sendiri pasang and my wiring might salah. Altho he guide me the wiring, and i follow everything but still the thing burned.

Moral of the story: buy from reputable people with good support.

i think quite expensive for android 7 and t7 is old model if i not worng

Hi guys , how do you do the settings to get screen dimmed when turning on the headlight ?

Im not sure if such a option is available? Even with canbus connection, I think its not for controlling but rather operation input display, such as door signal, aircon, etc

Normally there is a signal dor dim light, the socket there will have but is up to the car original or the installer got help u splice that connection or not.

Quick question. have some left overs old school ICE amps (RF x 2) and speakers.
Would like to give the car stereo a refresh.
Would these sub 1k android players be able to match the sound of traditional cd player brands like sony kenwood etc
Would be mostly using spotify/YTmusic and waze/google maps.
So i will need 2 amp output..
I sincerely doubt if there is a true DSP in these price range..more of just equaliser.
