I think Kenwood is using their own software. Even their own site does not mention anything about android.

Alright, will take a look at Issotta. Their pricing seems affordable. In a dilemma to pick between this or Kenwood now. Kenwood because it will last(reliable?) while Issotta is cheap for its functions.

The shop that you linked, they quoted me for the following:

RM700, built-In DSP, 48 EQ, Android 10, 2GB RAM, 32GB ROM.
RM250, can bus, casing, plug and play socket.
RM60, installation.
RM38-RM150, reverse camera.

They mentioned that the can bus is for connecting the player to my steering wheel. Is this true?

Based on this price point, would getting the Kenwood + Rear Camera combo be better since it's cheaper? Or will I need to add on to this cost for the can bus as well?

If really dificult for me to recommend here, bro..it your choice.

If I were to buy one today, i wont go anything less than 4GB RAM, older player came with android 4 modified for car player, it wasnt memory hungry, but with android 9 and above, and especially if you are gonna utilize the player like your phone with youtube, waze, google maps, extra, I wont go with 2GBRAM unless you are going to use as it is....

The Kenwood, is really nice, but the they are not revealing much on the spec, hence i dont know if its worth it.

buy px6 its have the best performance

somehow most of android unit have poor radio reception

but with px6, its android is so smooth.

though priced at high price, still below 1k.

so far only enjoy internet radio/spotify/youtube music on it while waze.

i tested player below rm300, claim 2gb ram + 32gb memory

but takes you almost long times just to load waze, not worth it.

What car you going to install.. If your current car have steering button you just need a set of wiring adapter to match your factory HU socket and with this you can PnP only without cutting any wire.. I will go for Kenwood for 3 camera support coz doesn't need to add switcher to change camera..

Do I need to get a new can bus to wire it to the steering wheel as mentioned by the shop?

You need wire harness to match back your factory hu socket.. coz steering button wiring -> Clock Spiral (Upper socket) then Cock Spiral (lower socket) -> HU socket.. wiring is there edi.. you just need wire harnes match to this socket & the other end match with new HU socket.. just like HDMI - WGA adapter cable, you need this adapter when your laptop have HDMI port & Led Monitor only got WGA port.. this also apply to car HU unless you dont mine to cut factory wiring/socket..

Support 3 camera mean that HU got 3 camera input without need additional switcher.. If you have 3 camera (Rear/Front/Side).. all this camera can connect direct to HU & at HU got CAM button where you can select which camera you want to see..

Hi all, I have a question
I am currently using an Android head unit with 16gb.
The storage is not enough to have all my songs from Apple music and Spotify.
It has two USB port to connect, is it possible to attach one pendrive to one of the USB ports and so the storage can increase let's say to 32/48/64gb?

Meaning the Android head unit can use the storage of the pendrive as its own?

Maybe you want to explain a little further on your requirement?

Android player is just a display module and can connect to your gear switch, hence when you shift your gear, it will show the camera view either reverse or frontal view.

just found out only cheaper 360 camera (2D) using remote



seems like 360 camera (3D) no remote



prefer without module @ built in, not find any in lazada (prefer to buy from lazada)

tried TSA brand android player 32+2 with 360 camera, cost me nearly 3k with installation
but still giving me problems
the system itself keep pop up saying the storage is full, in fact i never download anything and i check in the setting still have plenty of storage.
