Kinda understood what Lampard did with the subs. Imo, he took Kova and Kante out and sub Barkley and Mount in to give more firepower from the midfield (as both Kova and Jorgi plays the pivot role, and Kante is just getting worse each game. This time, the famous Gerrard slip )

And I applaud Lamps for his tactical change to 2 strikers up front. It did show that he was looking for that winning goal very seriously.

Defending-wise, I can see that Rudiger seemed a bit rusty. Wouldn’t say the same for Christensen but i guess Andreas has other issue related to experience, similar to Zouma. Can’t see our defend getting any better anytime soon with Tomori out with the injury.

Same goes to the keeper, I actually do prefer Willy over Kepa now. Such an overrated expensive gk, he really showed that in the match today.

Lamps, do what you need to do. Kill off those stubborn deadlinks

its easy to play against chelsea. defend deep, then we are clueless. give 100 corner to us but we not dangerous at all. keep crossing no one to finish it off.

Chelsea badly need a player-maker/creator. I don't see Chelsea going anywhere with this current squad. All I see is passes to the wide areas where either the fullback or the winger just puts a cross inside the box (Cross & hope for the best). Other than that I don't see any plan

Without top four no world class player will come to Chelsea next season.

By hook or by crook need to sign proven striker this transfer windows or we will keep on slipping points here and there because we failed to score goal.

totally agree on kante. world class in his position but was played out of position.

i will not say jorgi is good for nothing, at least for this season. he sucked last season but he showed massive improvement this year, at least in the way he distribute the ball and managing our midfield play. however, jorgi is a player JM would consider as luxury, because he can only do passing, and nothing else. last time JM said this to Juan Mata because he can only attack and cannot defend - which prompted him to declare Oscar as our #10 and subsequently selling Mata to MU.

the thing with our midfield is that, we dont have identity. maybe because our current group of player is one dimensional which limit the tactical that lampard can do. all small and weak bodies, no enforcer/ midfield-destroyer type of player in the middle.

and i cannot believe the day had come when people started calling for kante to be axed. get into other europe big team, this guy will lift the CL after this. if we really want him to go, get at least 100million for him.

if we really trade kante for jorgi, then the grudge that i will have is the same as the one i got for oscar. stupid move by the club!

Tammy now injured. Not sure if anything serious but this should be bad news to Chelsea especially Lampard. He desperately need to sign proven striker by permanent or on loan to help the burden of Tammy for scoring goals.

My expectation still to get top four but after saw the recent performance by our players with the difficulties to kill the game, i would i might to lower my expectations to top 6. And to play in europa next season we can kiss goodbye to Werner or Sancho.

Both goals was not kepa fault...its the overall team defending is bad really bad wei so bad.

Kante unfortunately slip ...it can happen to anyone.

Problem is why so many players when up to take the corners... normally need at least 3 people at the middle of field...but I only saw Kante alone there...

I won't talk about our attacking play cause it's rubbish as I mentioned it many times before.

As for the second goal....the moment Tammy was on the floor injured.....where was our in game management...where our leaders at ??? Where the leadership ? Why no one kick the ball out and waste time by letting the medical deal with Tammy to kill off the momentum arsenal had.

Poor substitution by Frank by that out Kante & Kovacic that allow arsenal to control the game... Barkley only good at bus park team cause he takes so long to think.... not when teams press hard.

forgot to address the issue related to kepa.. people are putting the pressure on kepa because he is the most expensive goalie. however, you also need to know why bilbao put such price on his head. it is not like he put the price on his own or demand for it and prior to be linked with chelsea, nobody knows about him. he is average at best when people start to know him at bilbao. and what is the relationship between paying high price for him and expecting him to turn into super goalie immediately?

the point is, the club gambled on him and failed. we also need to stop dreaming to recoup the cost if we were going to sell him and next goalie will surely be more expensive than this. other clubs will surely make his price as a benchmark during negotiations later..

my take is that, we should stick with him. he is just 25. still got time for development. heck, the whole team is in shambles right now. plus, goalie stats is quite unique because they work/ are affected by the quality of defenders in front of them. hopefully he can get better and be our goalie until he is 40!
