Many thanks for the tips. I will do a transfer after IB replies me. I think many of us investors just pump money into IB, there will come a good we need to take back the money for retirement and find the cheapest way. SG bank charging money for receiving bank via SWIFT or international transfer just sucks. If amount too big also subject to audit.

How fast is Giro? Will funds be received on the same day? or T+1 etc.?

Just did this yesterday. Had a bit of technical issue like the fee wouldn't load after inputting "send" and "receive" fields so I had to refresh page several times -- I think it's just because I was doing this on a weekend where IBKR is known to be unstable/in maintenance.. but idk. This feature isn't available on mobile app; you have to use browser (I think it says desktop but phone browser worked for me). I didn't have to change my account default currency to proceed with the transfer.

Contrary to the photo ETA, I haven't actually received it on IBKR (status Pending) but Wise already deducted my money, presumably because IBKR services are unavailable on the weekends. In Wise, my money was deducted immediately.

0 fee because no conversion needed... This amount is sitting in my EUR Wise account, it was my travel money leftover hahaha. Shame that they don't allow decimal transfer so now I have 70 cents left in my account...

I can understand that they'll probably earn more by selectively buy/sell from their own inventory of shares... But what's the effect for me ya? So far I've only used Limit Order to buy/sell shares ..

They claim they must provide "best execution" oooo...

If there is a lower price, "best execution" would mean they fulfill our limit buy order first directly instead of grabbing it then reselling it to us, no?

Can we remit foreign currencies (eg. USD or SGD) from Wise to MCA account in MY without conversion to MYR ?

This I have never tested before, don't have local MCA account either. But I know dwRK and others have local MCA account and Wise. Maybe they can share their experience?

BIL ETF. About 4% p.a. IRR for me (sell before ex-date, buy after ex-date, rinse and repeat every month to avoid paying 30% WHT).

Err he wants money market instruments to park idle funds.

Question is on BIL when the price adjusted down every early month what actually happens to it and why is it adjusted price down for what reason?

Nothing to do with div distribution 🤦‍♀️ it is adjusted due to the maturity and fees deducted at every month 🤦‍♀️
