Is it worth it to manually install GMS/Play store? No problems? I heard Netflix not working even with this method? How about Malaysian banking apps/Big Pay?

Oh..no more pre-order already? the other free gift included is an ori Huawei backcover. Nice backcover but if offers limited protection because the sides are not covered. Will share some pics later. I also bought another transparent TPU backcover for the phone.

For me it's worth it & it's very unlikely to screwed the installation. Netflix issue actually does not related to GMS. it's the company itself not yet certify Mate 30 pro. Hope they'll change their mind soon.

For banking app, our brother here already tested & say it working. So have faith in our brother LOL.

Yes, Netflix is not working. I heard the earlier version works (From Huawei SG staff. some older version, I wrote is somewhere, need to find) but not important to me as I don't want Netflix. As for as i know, all the banking apps work (at least for me. tested Maybank, OUB, OCBC, RHB, CIMB, HLB)

You can try the UAG case, abit expensive but it offer very good protection.

Guys.... Netflix cant run because Netflix itself haven't certified its app for use on the Mate 30/30 Pro. This has nothing to do with the Google ban. Yes, banking apps all work.

No thanks bro. UAG cases are too bulky for me. I got myself some Chinese branded clear TPU backcover. Works very well. Now trying to find the rear camera TG.

Yes.. we must use those UV glue type of TG because the FP scanner will become less sensitive after installing the normal type of TG. Blue-O works fine with our phones. Costs Rm59 + Installation from Ninjaz SS2.

Is it L1? As if not L1, then the Netflix will only run in SD quality.

You will see label of HD in Netflix show if phone support L1.
Also HDR if phone support HDR.
