Which guide did you follow.
I tried two, 1) at a step before final was working perfectly, then the last step gave me the notification things 2) 2nd try with another youtuber, at i stopped at 2nd last step too as there is no error and everything is working. i just bought RM8 from shopee, UV glue type, it covered all the curve

The UV glue quite easy.... i also non pro..
first time.. i LOLOL didnt know there is a very thin membrane need to be removed prior installation.. install with it... then tocuh not working haha.. Shine your surface with torch light, u can see dust.. remove the dust with tape provided.. Put whole bottle of uv glue in 1 dot.. Put the glass protector.. and align to your liking.. then put a small weight on top and watch the glue spreading evenly. once u think all align and final.. Start to shine the uv light on it.. kow dim.. Easy.. zero bubble. |

The only time i miss GMS platform :
1 - Whatsapp does not backup to google/cloud 2 - Phone backup full, because Huawei cloud does not provide free backup for picture in lower res. 3 - Game that requires constant patch to play (and not available in HMS) 4 - Google Reward for free money. 5 - Not able to continue review food to get to rank 6 with google map  QUOTE(attw @ Sep 29 2020, 07:37 AM) Into my third week now and still not missing GMS  |

Mate 20 Pro , screen still RM896.

Not sure if this helps, just sharing.
My mate 10, over the cloud update shows no further update. But when i plug my phone to pc and HiSuite able to perform additional update Took hella long time Waiting for promotion to replace my m20p screen.. ouch 8xx is madness.
