i did it this morning. all good.

i used twin app for whatsapp ( i use dual sim cards on my mate 30 pro).
after installing twin app, it prompted google not certified. it was ok, i just disable the notificaiton. all went well.

now, i use H-suite to backup. H-suite backup said twin app cannot be backup? .. then how do i back up my two whatsapp on my mate30pro?

You can try backing up two whatsapp accounts into 1 Google drive account.

it said it's not google certified. don't even allow me to select which google account to backup. (whatsapp twin app)

the original whatsapp app: all good. can backup to my google account.

Or try creating another google id just to backup this twin whatsapp account.

After updating to EMUI 10.1, do you guys suffer huge battery drain? normally my mate 30 pro can last a day or 2 with normal usage now i have to charge twice a day. need help

I'll try to update as soon as I try to charge to 100% again, before this I switched to safe mode, the battery drain still noticeably faster if compare to emui 10, but it doesn't seem draining tht badly. Was thinking FB is the culprit so I disabled background running. And see what's the result again. Here's my usage currently.

Well Mate 30 pro itself is a monster already, so before updating to EMUI 10.1 my really tank the whole day like a beast even playing some japanese games, watcing videos, FBing etc. just after the update the battery dropped significantly. Sometimes/most of the times doing the same task ever since i got this phone, sot only 3-4hours. So it kinda concern me... after the update it started to prompt out FB is power intensive, so i wonder is FB gone wrong or just current FB ver doesn't work well with current EMUI 10.1. Anyway I'll try to see how it goes after i restricted FB background running process.

Anyway, wanted to ask. If i wanted to sideload GMS, after resetting the phone and got it work, can i restore the backup from Hisuite or I need to start anew? Is the GMS like a time-ticking bomb? If i encounter issues with GMS like the error keep prompting out, I have to reset my phone again and start from scratch?

I used this phone almost 2-3 months,without GMS just apk this and tht, nothing really holding me back without GMS actually but if having GMS ofcuz is better. What do u guys think? Isit worth taking the risk?
