Technically Yes. But so far I dont think anyone got their warranty voided for sideloading GMS. You can always uninstall GMS when you want to send your phone for RMA.

anyone update their mate 30 to emui 10.1?
will affect gms system or just everything fine?

I received my mate 30 Pro 5G emui 10.1.0.236 update on 15 June.

So far so good and still update all my apps from google playstore in the last two days. There were no hiccups with the running of all my apps.

And I like the new animation when I swipe to dismiss the apps in the background.

Hope Huawei can keep up the good work and let us enjoy our phone for a long time to come with regular updates in the coming months. Hope to be able to receive Emui 11 updates when the time comes.

Yes, I already have GMS before the EMUI update.

I just tried for my mate30, and it works fine. Before update my phone already sideload gms

Well, that’s the whole point. They should have priced it cheaper to encourage more adopters of their HMS to accelerate development and for people to try lessening their dependence on GMS.
