Well, that’s the whole point. They should have priced it cheaper to encourage more adopters of their HMS to accelerate development and for people to try lessening their dependence on GMS.
*
Yeah totally agree with you. Now the thought process is same price buy phone with GMS, or buy phone without GMS? The answer is quite obvious which most people would pick in such situation.

But if like you mentioned, priced it lower a bit, then most people might pick up a huawei cause of the savings.

Who cares? I do have google services and the phone is working like a charm. Those who buy this phone will have to accept it as it is or just look elsewhere. nod.gif

guys, i just got the mate 30 pro 5g, from my mom. Apparently the phone was setup by her staff and got GMS, but i already reset the phone

found out after reset theres a screen that says "this phone is unlocked, and cant be trusted". After the phone reboot, when it asked to sign in into huawei ID, it says the phone is rooted. But when I install supersu and kingoroot, both apps say the phone is not rooted. Any idea?

one more thing, it seems like theres a software update, but everytime it updates the phone, when i check software update, the same update (same version name, and same file size) appears. I can install it over and over again, it will still show theres a new update with the same version name and file size.

Anyone can help?

I have previously installed GMS using old LZPLAY method.. Stupid enough, I reset the phone - thought it can be backup-restore later.. bangwall.gif

But I managed to install GMS using new LZPLAY method - but seems not to the fullest Google experience - Play protect certification gives out device not certified bangwall.gif bangwall.gif

You may try to install GMS using this new method..

Yes. All Huawei phones sideloaded with GMS with have it's Play Protect Not Certified. I have no issues with that though.

Sometimes it could be cimbclicks themselves having errors on their app. Quite common for CIMB Clicks. Uninstall and try again later.

Yeah but I cant seem to have CIMB clicks work as the new update requires secureTAC.
Strange enough that I can use secureTAC with LZPLAY old method.

Then should be because of the Play Protect issue. App deems your phone is not secure enough to allow secure tac.

I recently installed GMS with the new method, and noticed some apps were not being pushed. I need to open the apps then it downloaded all of the emails etc.

If you have already installed gms then there should be nothing to worry about. I have updated multiple times on my non 5G and gms is still working like normal.

Try this, if everything ok, it should be no notification again, and everything works well. I follow this and success
