Nah, Huawei is not that stupid. There's a reason behind the September launch, they could easily delay the launch date to some other month, but Huawei pressed ahead anyway. We are talking about the fastest growing tech company in the world here, while other company is declining including Samsung and you think they don't have any trick under their sleeve.
They playing mind games here, if you notice some tech reviewers is perplexed why Huawei didn't hand out any test unit to the press like they usually do. And why the OS looks more of a showcase OS and not a fully functioning OS.

I has experience working with Huawei contractor before in Qatar, and let me tell you one thing, Huawei is very profit oriented entity, and you think they just simply spend millions on launching and marketing only to release dud of a phone no one wants to buy?

me, i don't use gmail, google play and MAP. i don't even have single social media app in my phone, including FB (fb not even in my PC or it won't appear in my browser)

I believe uncle benny has purchased and review almost all mate series since years ago and I remember mate series is one of the earliest phone to have 4000mah battery and reverse wired charging during iphone 5/6era. Having used Samsung/huawei/apple products, Huawei completely changed my perception towards made in China product. Its a loss for the world of tech If huawei is no longer in smartphone market. Without strong competitor like huawei I can only imagine how boring other smart phone would gets.

Can all the phone contacts be migrated seamlessly when u decide to change phone, say, back to another non-Huawei android phone?

Can photos in the M30 Gallery be synced to Google Photo? Or would u switch to a 3rd party service like Dropbox or use Huawei cloud?

Would ur chat history be important to u? Can WhatsApp, WeChat history be stored in Google Drive? Or do u want to use Huawei cloud? Or manually copy it out when u switch phone?

Can this cloud data be accessible to other android phones? If not, normal users may think they hv to stick with Huawei phones once they started using Huawei cloud.

Im interested in the pricing of the mate30 pro.
If its going be somewhere 4k region im going for it. if its much more expensive i think ill get the note10+ instead.
