For Malaysia it's 2 November.

Looking at the available to date, doesn't look abundance yet but we'll see how it goes. I tried the Apple TV+ app and watched a preview on my Pro Max speakers, the surround sound is really immersive. The audio might be something else

Nope, it’s better to do family sharing. Your other “family member” use their own Apple id. You’ll be the organizer and they are added by you. You definitely don’t want to share your own apple id and password to others

US prime video has more selection for movies and series. I by pass geolocation using smart dns since vpn really throttle down my internet speed.

It depends, not sure which iPad Mini you are using but its max at Full HD (1080p). Only iPad Pro can reach HDR.

but now i want to setup on my pc, sign in no prob, until when i want to actually watch it , it require CC credential which i no longer use. payment all goes to my maxis acc.

Well if you’re hooked to 5-6 of their series then I think it’s worth it. So far, enjoying The Morning Show and See. The intensity is crazy lol. Somehow with all the not so good reviews, I just feel ppl are expecting too much from Apple or just expect them to produce a “perfect” show which covers all aspects in a politically or realistically correct way lol. In terms of entertainment, script, and performance of the artists, I think they did great.

I'm having same issue since the new ep of Servant dropped. On Unifi 800MB package. Every other streaming service works flawlessly but I can't watch any Apple TV+ show or any of my iTunes movies or TV Shows (US or Malaysia store). Can't even watch trailers so it's not an account thing. If I'm on data I can view iTunes movies/TV on my phone. If I try on wifi it will load ask 'Resume' or 'Start from beginning' then forever loading before popping out a 'There's a problem loading this content' on ATV4. It's just black screen on iTunes or iOS devices. Have reset router, gateway repeatedly. Use paid DNS, google or auto no difference. Is Unifi blocking Apple? I was going to call them up ask what's up cause this is new.

There's an underground/water cable issue? Maybe that's it. It's only since Thu or Fri evening but it is annoying. I can download the movie in iTunes at a decent speed (no slowdown) but it will not stream on any device (PC, tablet, phone, Macbook, ATV4 or ATV3). That kinda makes the ATV useless at this point. I livechat with Unifi so they reset my port but that didn't do anything. They ask me to do a pingplotter trace route thingy but not sure what I'm looking at ... oh well hopefully it is resolved in a bit. Really wanted to watch that Servant episode.

Just had a chat with them as well (dear lord was it trying). Did the same ping plotter too. Was told that they’d “get back to me soonest” with no actual timeline.

I somehow managed a workaround if you wanna stream. Though be warned that the quality takes a hit.

I’m gonna drop you a PM so lurkers won’t abuse it and we end up being at square one.

It works fine this morning on phone and ATV3 so maybe they had enough reports to get it fixed.

Anyway now that most shows are almost done what's the new upcoming show to watch?

Edit - never mind, it's not working on ATV4k despite not changing any settings. What an annoyance but at least it works on other devices.

dont think they have much going on now. that is why they are focusing on their original series for now. maybe after 6 months or so then you'll see more series added into it i guess. need more hbo series added

Managed to watch Servant this evening straight through then rented Joker but it won't play right on the ATV4k. Had to bring the ATV3 to use instead and it plays fine. Such a weird issue. It's intermittent off/on within an hour or two. TM called also late evening and said they did testing on my line/port and no issues on their end but said if I still have issues to clear cache, restart browser etc which means they don't really understand the issue. Sorry for kinda OT in this thread.

I think it's still related discussion since it's about ATV+ streaming. I don't actually have an Apple TV (Doesn't seem worth it just yet), so can't double check for you from my end.

I think it might be the under water cable issue. Since they've done testing but can't identify the problem. The answer they gave is really the stock standard type I'll get post what their reply to me is once they've figured out what the problem is. Chances are, it's gonna be the same as yours.

Not sure if it's related, but have you enabled IPV6 on your router? Or are you on a VPN connection?

It only starts around 6-7pm. Can watch few episodes of the Knick in a row (Apple/iTunes TV shows purchased) then once that time kicks in it will start to get funky then eventually buffering/never play. So rest of evening switch to watching other things not on iTunes.

I do use a VPN (g-flix) for Hulu, Prime, Disney+ and it is set on each device individually. I can switch it to default, reboot router and iTunes still won't work at that specific time.

Do not have IPV6 activated. Should I? Have no issues before last Friday for years at this point. Same settings, rarely reboot router maybe once every 2 months lol Unless got issue of course.

Got a refund for rental of Joker no questions asked, despite the issue only being watching it on HD instead of 4k and messing up the flow of the movie for start/stopping.

If you previously didn’t have any issues, don’t think you need to bother. I just got my connection back - some fibre cable broke so had zero internet. Tried streaming this morning (after they fixed the fibre ) and I could stream without a problem. Literally just tried - again, can’t.

I don’t know how else to sort this out. They don’t seem to know what the problem is either.

I’m gonna try again tomorrow. If it’s still the same (morning fine, evening/night problem), I’m gonna open another report. If they still won’t rectify it, I think an email to mcmc is in order

Well on the Apple Support forums/community there are a few people having issues as well. Not in Malaysia only. It is intermittent and at certain times, which sounds familiar. Right now mine will go out most of the evening, on all devices. Most of the day the ATV4k will not play any movies/TV but the ATV3 next to it will play it fine. Of course until a certain time in the evening. It's baffling and hugely annoying. Am unable to watch any ATV+ series to catch up in the evenings. I just want it to work like it should. Good luck on your end too.

Oh gosh. I’m having the same issue as well. For the past few days i can’t seem to stream movies or shows from itunes and appletv+ shows via ANY of my apple devices (Apple TV 4K, iPad, iPhone and my Mac). Trailers doesnt stream too. And i’m using unifi as well. But when i change to my Data, it works just fine.

I’ve tried factory resetting my apple TV but still the same issue.
However streaming netflix and amazon prime works flawlessly.

Should I lodge a complaint to Unifi too? At least for them to know its not an isolated issue.

Maybe worth it to report to Unifi but it is probably on Apple's end or our connection from Asia/VPN to their servers in the US/wherever. Today so far it has been fine all day until 8pm watched all of a series on iTunes but I also had to sub to another Smart DNS service to get it to work on my 4ktv and PC. The other devices work on the old DNS or none.

Try another device login there. Or log off and log on again? Looks like u are subbed already.

It does indeed sound familiar. Any of the reports mentioning it working on a different connection but not on a common one? Coz our problem seems to stem from unifi.

I literally just tried. No problem playing. Gonna wait till later and see if it plays. I’m convinced it’s an issue on Unifi’s side since switching to data solves it.

Exactly the same as you. Please. Lodge a report. If the problem persists tonight I’ll lodge another report. With more people reporting, hopefully they’ll take some form of action.

Anyone having problems now? I can't play any purchased movies or Apple TV+ intermittently on Unifi. All other apps (Speed test, YouTube) are normal.
