The rest is actually pull from iTunes where purchase or rent is required. This was actually mentioned in announcement of Apple TV+ event.
Apple know their contents to little, that why Apple keep extending the free period because they know very less will subscribe it as the content is too little and for the moment Apple never plan to let you see others none Apple TV+ movies free yet.

The TV channel where need to extra paid one do different, that one had more channel in USA but all required additional subscription fees.
