Hi, has anyone been able to edit photos and use content outside the frame?
*
Have you turn on the capture outside the frame under Settings > Camera?

Default is off

We can zoom out photo in crop edit mode.

I've been trying with different settings and random photos, yet i still haven't seen the option appear.

I think no option or indicator mention about outside frame. It should be in photo crop function. Literally we can pitch to zoom out from original 1x photo.

According to youtube, when you select a photo > edit > click on the "..." on the top right corner and you'll see the option to use image outside frame

here's my charging speed (awfully slow but ok....)

used iPad 10W charger (the normal USB to Lightning)
5:56pm - 12%
7:14pm - 61%
7:58pm - 83%
8:31pm - 92%
8:51pm - 97%
9:10pm - 100%
almost 3 hours to get from 12% --> 100%

on the other hand, i tried using my Mac's Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C to Lightning)
6:51am - 16%
7:31am - 53%
7:59am - 76%
8:31am - 91%
9:00am - 100%
almost 2 hours to get from 16% --> 100%

didn't start from 0% cause didn't have a chance to drain my phone till that extent biggrin.gif

Just received my phone from Lazada and another case.
In the box was just the phone with no invoice or anything, normal?

Something that surprised me was that even the inner box had a square notch for the camera

After extensive googling, here is what o found.

The function to capture outside the frame is disabled when the night mode icon is showing on the top left corner.

In other words, lightning needs to be sufficient for the ultra wide angle lens to capture the additional data.

If others can verify that this issue goes across all iPhones maybe we can lodge a complaint to Apple about it.

Ultra wide lens doesnt support night mode as of now :

1) until further software update ?
2) until 11s ?
3) hardware unable to support ?

Which is quite ...Apple-ish of plan ..

RM29 TG works fine & cant see any flaws or defects. Will search for cheaper option.

RM28 TG case
Attached Image
Looks cheap but feels solid since the back is made out of TG.

RM59 Supcase UB
Attached Image
Looks & feels premium, low profile case with no raised buttons which could be a pro or con to some.
