it's quite a phone for video too, 4G should be sufficient for daily task, 4s was one of my favorite design 🙈

Bought the phone on 2020 May and now battery is on 76%.

I’ve asked around for battery replacement from itworld/secondlifeasia ranging 300-400ish.

Where 3rd party cost around 150-200ish.

Hovering shopee battery about 100 max, where i can diy my own since i diy my ip6 battery.

Based on experience, is it worth go to authorized sc like itworld etc? Compared to 3rd party?

If go to authorized sc for batt replacement can last longer than 3rd party shops then it’s worth.

I think it’s more for the peace of mind if you’re getting a battery from authorized SC compared to 3rd party. Also maybe ask and see if the third party shops give warranty for the battery replacement as well and how is it compared to the authorized SC? Ultimately, if you are still planning to use the phone long term, RM150-RM200 extra is worth the investment for changing it at an authorized SC. Just my 2 cents.

For long-term from my opinion, just go to authorized SC to replace battery. At least u can fight with Apple when your new battery went rogue anytime after replaced...

If planning to change new phone, why not sell this? And putting the money of new battery into buying new iphone~

Thinking to sell mine instead of trading in with Maxis for the new iPhone 15 Pro , how much can a 128gb sells now? Is it worth the hassle over just trading it in?

If your phone qualifies for the max trade-in value, which is RM1035, I would say just trade in!

Common issue.
That's one reason why I changed my phone.
Suspect the 4G modem issue

I switched my phone from 11 to 14 due to 4G LTE connectivity issue. It is not telco problem, I also tried using Singtel, Starhub, ais, dtac SIM when going overseas, all same problem.

go for original replacement.

3rd party replacement will most likely result in broken water tight seal.

My iPhone was changed at 3rd party and I accidentally left it inside washing machine for less than 10minutes, it was water damaged. (not supposed to with ip67 rating).

Hi, i have an issue with my IP11 where its having the symptoms of the network IC failure. phone signals are quite frequently dropping to edge from 4g.

need to go flight mode then back again to 'refresh' sometimes need to do a few times.

anyone know where to get this repaired in KL or melaka?
