QUOTE(sramesh @ Sep 16 2019, 05:47 PM) Guys, if not for the LCD display (which isn't too bad), the iPhone 11 is a steal for the price and features. actually LCD nothing bad. in fact, LCD has advantages over OLED such as no burn-in issues, eyes will not feel strain so easily while using it for long duration.i am totally fine with LCD in fact i prefer LCD over OLED. just that with iphone 8 plus a much smaller display (5.5-inch) has full-HD resolution vs iphone 11 (6.1-inch) has lower resolution, this part is a bit hard to swallow especially for those who have been using plus size of iphones like iphone 6+, 7+, 8+. a lot may argue that cannot really tell difference. but seriously as a plus user, i can tell that the content is not as 'sharp' as on plus size iphones. (just my 2 cents). and i believe from marketing point of view, apple has done this purposely to make sure the two product lines have some clear distinct difference to justify for the difference in price. however, to be fair, to general people, this is not a big bummer since price justifies it. so no choice. i have to go for iphone 11 pro max instead. haha. |

QUOTE(attw @ Sep 17 2019, 07:59 AM) Yup, for that budget you could get a number of good flagship phones already. The 11 won't be much different from the XR in terms of looks and feel, except for the dual camera in the rear. So you should have some idea of how it will look like physically. Big difference from the Note 10+! yeah Huawei mate 30 coming out this week, pixel 4 as well. By then I would have a clearer picture. If I wanna go into android, pixel is a safer option in terms of software support. Oh you're on prepaid... Ya, I think eSIM is mostly for postpaid customers at the moment. A physical dual SIM iPhone would be far more versatile but getting one won't be as cheap as previously since Qoo10 discontinued the coupons. I have a friend using pixel3 only complain is the display and battery. |

QUOTE(melvintcs @ Sep 17 2019, 09:23 AM) Im looking for a prepaid. currently im using hotlink, but esim only available for maxis postpaid plan. currently im using yoodo esim (prepaid). Is there any other telco provide esim with prepaid? if i'm not mistaken, digi also offer esim for prepaid. but you need to request sim replacement after completing your registration. |

QUOTE(westlife @ Sep 17 2019, 10:49 AM) Will see how. Getting older. I need to hold on to a phone for at least 2 years and more. Can't keep changing due to software updates.Android phones are good. But when it comes to software updates, it's not the best. That's why I thought of going for iPhone a try and see. |

This offer is open to all Postpaid customers, including Hotlink Postpaid Flex and Corporate plans. Available for new line registrations and existing customers. too bad. for maxis. prepaid users cannot. QUOTE(jayro_88 @ Sep 17 2019, 11:31 AM) Will see how. Getting older. But when it comes to software updates, it's not the best. That's why I thought of going for iPhone a try and see. only apple gives ur devices 5 years minimum of ios support. seems disappointed that iphone 11 doesn't have 128gb...
gonna go for ip8+ 256 used - upgrade from i6 128gb (quite suffer now due to lack of ram)... im putting hopes for 2020 - 2021 iphone as rumor could be return of TouchID for me iphone 8+ is sufficient for my usage, as i watched video comparison between XS nothing much difference. Getting X/XS/11/11Pro would be overkill for me as I wont utilize it 100% |

Thinking this iPhone 11 should be a good start In my experience, people switching from Android either hate it or love it - no middle ground, haha. You’ll need to be aware that transferring your WhatsApp chat history from Android to iOS may require a paid app though.QUOTE(malaysiaboleh2020 @ Sep 17 2019, 10:55 AM) yeah Huawei mate 30 coming out this week, pixel 4 as well. Right now, I wouldn’t touch a Huawei device with a pole, even more so the Mate 30 series as it is rumoured to come without Google services and Apps. The other phone that you might wanna consider is the OnePlus as they are launching the 7T soon too. It’s about as close to a Pixel in terms of reliability and software support as far as Android goes.I have a friend using pixel3 only complain is the display and battery. I’ve not seen any Galaxy S5 or Note 4 running Android Pie Android phones are good. But when it comes to software updates, it's not the best. That's why I thought of going for iPhone a try and see. QUOTE(westlife @ Sep 17 2019, 10:49 AM) Happen to me. But vice versa. Been using iPhone since the release of 2G, 3GS, 4S, 5S, 6S. Then after 6S thinking about try Android. There is no way back. The freedom in Android is so much more than the restricted in Apple ecosystem. |
