seems disappointed that iphone 11 doesn't have 128gb...

gonna go for ip8+ 256 used - upgrade from i6 128gb (quite suffer now due to lack of ram)...

im putting hopes for 2020 - 2021 iphone as rumor could be return of TouchID

for me iphone 8+ is sufficient for my usage, as i watched video comparison between XS nothing much difference.

Getting X/XS/11/11Pro would be overkill for me as I wont utilize it 100%

i had BB priv which got android 6...

where my ip6 using ios 12

priv launched in 2015 has 1 year Android OS update, 2019 still stuck in Android 6
iphone 6 launched in 2015 same year as iphone but supports 4 years of iOS cycle!!!

I know i use BB which is a bad example compared to others like Samsung, etc...but look what android and the manufacturers, doesn't shake hand

Also my Priv has 3gb ram, SD 808 is crappier than my ip6

folks, i plan to get 11 128gb (currently using ip6 - often app crash when play MLegends - suspect lack of ram) , but ip11 seems now everywhere is out of stock...
despite having SE 2020 and not yet available i feel that just top up abit and get 11 which better than SE 2020 (after some youtubes and factor my IMO)

i guess right now ip11 is on demand right now, hard to find BNIB MY Set, so I've found a seller which selling LL set, which i really dont mind to get it...
but what drives me abit of resistance due to 2 main factors below:

1. Since it's already 6 months in the ip11 cycle, should I wait for ip 12 (rumor has it will have ip4 design and oled, better camera maybe?)
2. what's is the common issue that you guys face using ip11 so far? If it's software then can't do anything, had to wait apple ios updates, and what about hardware?

For hardware, i have no issue to fix my own since i repair my ip6 wifi chip and battery replacement as well.

Finally got myself ip11 128gb green from switch

Switch has better customer service that Machines, as I’ve been fb message them for stock availability.

Machines no layan due to their team only work on weekdays, where Switch replies every 10mins.

For whatsapp messages I’ve used icloud, if you’re existing ios user. If you are then make sure your icloud space has at least 2 to 3 times larger than your whatsapp backup. Example whatsapp size 4gb, recommended icloud space, 12 gb max.
I did experience upload stuck at 2/3% due to that my icloud is 5gb whatsapp about 4gb+
And for stickers I’ve no further idea about this.

Bought the phone on 2020 May and now battery is on 76%.

I’ve asked around for battery replacement from itworld/secondlifeasia ranging 300-400ish.

Where 3rd party cost around 150-200ish.

Hovering shopee battery about 100 max, where i can diy my own since i diy my ip6 battery.

Based on experience, is it worth go to authorized sc like itworld etc? Compared to 3rd party?

If go to authorized sc for batt replacement can last longer than 3rd party shops then it’s worth.
