Hello guys out there !

I am looking for a 2.1 set to replace my Altec Lansing 4.1 ACS54 model.

My previous model serve me well but the front speaker lacks of earphone jack.

The 2.1 set shall on the par or slightly better than the model I am having now. Budget wise similiar to ACS54.

I do not mind going for Edifier, Sonic Gear, Creative or Altec Lansing again.

Please advise.

Hi, which budget 5.1 2.1 speaker is good to pair with a PC just for Movies and Gaming only? I already got AegoM for music with another pc

how about edifier r501 mk2 ? less than rm400

Actually, after some consideration, I thinking to get 2.1 instead....if 5.1 will be a lot wires running around my living room

is M3300 good for movie?

M3300 for movie not so bad. but the "power" sometimes is not really there... but if u place d sub in appropriate place should be ok. like my setup i placed near my LCD screen. (check siggy)

for budget 300+-,how about the new edifier Hcs2330 ? maybe u should give tis speaker a try,then only decide to go for m3300 or Hcs2330

can't recommend any coz I'm not too sure. probably the audiophiles here can be more specific

if no then Edifier MP300 or MP210
if yes then MP230 or MP221.

avoid Sonic Gear if possible. Altec is much better. 2421 is not bad choice. it has bigger driver than 1121. summore 2421 is from class 2. where 1121 is from class 1. so 2421 should be much better. and i've listened to 2421 and its not bad for that price.

i'm using a notebook. last time i own a altec atp3 now spoil cos cable problem and i dunno where to find ppl fix so maybe buying new speaker. bought e3100 for a friend last time quite like the sound quality when listening to music. now i'm trying to find a speaker to listen to music, play a little game and watch a little movie. game and movie not my priority i want a speaker that can play good vocal quiet music. i'm also considering the speaker design cos need to save some space but performance 1st for me. anyone can compare those few model (mp210, m3300, m3350, e3100). if the 2.0 mp210 is better at playing music than the other model then may consider it.

Give Edifier S530D a try, it is within your budget.

i test the set and the bass is good, but it is not clear... but the price is tempting, anyone here owner of this set? can give comment?

haven't test the MX5021 and aego, but i think cant get as cheap as this one..
