I don't get what you are trying to mean here.

Klipsch 2.1 now is already very rare, hardly can find one, unless display unit.

Yea discontinued already, you can try s330 for rm390+-, or raise your budget a bit and get mx5021 instead which has more powerful bass.

many Klipsch products discontinued already... though their product very nice one...
RM400 nothing for a nice bass and nice clarity. u want bass can try logitech z2300. mx5021 is not good. but if u like, its ur call...
for clarity, go edifier S330.

How about Altec Lansing latest models?
AL VS4221 AND AL FX4021?

U might regret if u buy these 2 models, i rather take S330 or C3.

i do not really recommend altec lansing. they used to be good. especially in past 6 years or beyond. now their products... really sucks.
especially after they change the logo for second time. which means the organization have been restructured 2x.

if MX5021 is not really good, imo the 4221 and 4021 will be worse. i used to also search for same criteria as u, but found nothing. (RM400)
until i decided to 'eye' on the R501. probably getting it by end of this month.

@:+:[J]erR[y]:+: , from my experience, altec lansing is really good in terms of bass, but the problem is the clarity is way too bad, so the best is still get edifier, yet this is just my recommendations~

@ktek, erm, for me, i'm not bashing altec lansing products, and not even is brand racist, i'm not edifier fan boy as well, it's just the fact, if you compared both of them, you can get the answer~

Among all current model available in market only MX5021 got a decent sound quality, the rest are overpriced & poor sound quality.

No la, we dun hate AL, in fact sad cause AL used to be so good. But the fact is AL now perform not as good as before.

The quality of AL drop after the chief engineer pass away few years ago .
