has any set of 2.1 comes at the range of 300MYR yet still giving a very good performance, initially set my eye on Aego, but its a lil pricey together with logitech z2300, edifier S2.1M, Altec lansing MX5021, most of them cost at atleast 400MYR up to 700MYR, i'm looking for something value for my money, if my speaker is not so powerful, i don't think i need a better card rite? on-board sounds 7.1 good enough? pls advise, thanks.

Hemm, if u compare the performance / price ratio of AEGO M with other speaker, then u won't say that it's expensive, but in the other way round

The better soundcard gives you a better source. IMO it doesn't depend much whether the speaker is powerful or not, it's in term of the sound quality when u get yourself a soundcard.. onboard soundcard usually sucks bigtime.

If for movie and musics only, u can forget about creative soundcard and get some other brand one. However, not familiar with good speaker around RM300 though..

if only i can get to hear it for myself, so far no demo for me to test it.

You from PJ rite? You can go to Lowyat plaza and test those speaker and buy within your $$.. If you really need to audition AegoM just drop a pm to Yuheng in AegoM fan's club....

but yuheng's aego i think he upgrade alot of things edi to make it so powerful, the normal aego , ppl said lack of bass kinda thing. thats why i wanna hear it for myself. wonder hi-way laser ss2 there can test anot..haha

He can let you test onboard soundcard. But even that, it's much more upgraded sound unlike the usual 'multimedia' sound which we are used to. Let you have a little taste of hi-fidelity music.

But all in all, he's quite busy recently, so he only cater customers not testers. Cos we dont sell them anymore (or safe to say 'recently')

Yuheng upgrade his AegoM until can buy 2 AegoM....audiophiles mah...

i got some noobish question to ask , i bought my altec lansing v4121 last year. Now the problem is u know when u want to change the volume thingy , it seems loose and cant change the sound volume correctly. I know my english sux but then is there any way it can be repair ?

can recommend me speaker below rm200? mainly use it for listening to music

maybe you can add the budget a little to around like RM220 and get an Edifier M3300.1 of the best speakers for music at that budget

My friend's VS4121 has same problem with you. Sometime my friend fail to adjust the volume.

Hi guys, currently itching to upgrade to a 5.1 system, would the creative gigaworks G500 be good enough? Let's say by comparing it to Z5500, i know the bass of Z5500 is obviously more powerful, but i am more concern bout music performance, but at the same time i need thumping bass as well . G500 or Z5500? Users of these speaker kindly give opinion lol
