QUOTE(munky @ Jul 6 2007, 05:46 PM) can anyone recommend me a 5.1 speaker that uses only 2 speakers and a woofer ? Is there any difference compared to a 4 speaker/satellite system? Dude, do some research next time. The first letter (e.g. 5.1) means the satellite units. The next one (e.g. 5. 1) means the woofer unit.

Go for BT3 for this range, or M3300 Edifier.

QUOTE(McRyan @ Jul 22 2007, 09:50 AM) hey, tats my budget too... after i having fun wf those speakers at low yat, at last i took altec 4121, its damn clear n deep bass to blast ur soul lol Damn clear? Without a soundcard it's like putting a cloth in front of a speaker, do you understand how it will sound like? A sound card will improve it but then, M3300 is still clearer. I have to agree VS4121 is for trance music and movies, not for musics.

Listen more to speakers and train your ears then you will know what 'clarity' means.

QUOTE(jasonkwk @ Aug 12 2007, 04:12 AM) what is the differences when play music and gaming/movie? the bass and treble got difference? Gaming/movie need boomy bass and surround effect. Music doesnt, it only requires stereo and accurate bass.

I hear people listen to brighter sound when they grow older as their hearing starts to degrade. I hope I dont have this symptoms when I grow older.

QUOTE(kenzo @ Oct 10 2007, 11:23 AM) but yuheng's aego i think he upgrade alot of things edi to make it so powerful, the normal aego , ppl said lack of bass kinda thing. thats why i wanna hear it for myself. wonder hi-way laser ss2 there can test anot..haha He can let you test onboard soundcard. But even that, it's much more upgraded sound unlike the usual 'multimedia' sound which we are used to. Let you have a little taste of hi-fidelity music. But all in all, he's quite busy recently, so he only cater customers not testers. Cos we dont sell them anymore (or safe to say 'recently') This post has been edited by walabies: Oct 10 2007, 02:39 PM
