Did a round of speaker demo in Lowyat today. First off, AegoM in Tong Lee audio shop at ground floor. Disappointed with the shop (and sound) because one of the satelitte was dead and the speaker was right outside of the shop surrounded by all the noise. I actually went to HiWay Laser @ Pudu earlier to try AegoM but it is closed.

Went to Edifier top level for S330 demo. The shopkeeper there was very friendly. C3 was clearer than S330 to me, so out goes S330.

Went Hyper IT, Viewnet, Thundermatch, Sri Computers to try other models. The only that stood out was Creative Gigaworks t40. Looks are deceiving, like AE satellites. Big in size doesn't mean big in quality.

None of those shops knows if Creative Gigaworks T3 is coming or not. Just answered "Dunno supplier got bring in or not", which ticks me off a bit. How is the supplier going to justify bringing in a product if the shops don't bother to feedback to the supplier of that product's demand?

Anyways, brought my car audiophile pal along for his opinion comparing different speakers. Still haven't bought anything yet.

did u try out the r1900t3? what's ur opinion?

Sorry, I didn't specifically try 2.0 speakers this round (I am trying to look for a 2.1). Nearing the end where I was looking/asking for Creative Gigaworks T3, the Creative speaker section have Gigawork T40 and T20 which I tested out of curiousity.

ohh.. hmm, pretty hard to find the t3 huh... too bad... i wonder why not many shops have this great speaker..

You've hear to experience it feel it, don rely those reviews in youtube .

whats the cheapest 5.1 speakers i can get now ah?

are u sure u wanna look for the cheapest? i'd suggest u get a 2.1 for the price of a cheap 5.1. would u rather have 2 good speakers in front of u, or 5 terrible speakers all around u? if u have around rm200 to spare, invest in a 2.1 my friend. unless u're a really big fan of 5.1. goodluck anyway!

I know Sonic Gear these days are pushing out lots of speakers. They have like 6-7 speaker series in the market right now. Anyhow, I would also say that sound quality is more important than cheap pricing when it comes to audio.

Haha,I suggest that don ever think about SonicGear,my friend.No offense for that because its sound quality and product quality not even reach the standard level,just my review as I was ex-user of SonicGear.

So far i know Edifier got one 5.1 speaker (M1550) at RM199 at my place, Sarawak Kuching. cheapest

is the different btw m3300 and m3310 a lot in term of mix use for game music and movie?
cos the price different rm50, donno save that 50 more for m3300 or m3310 should be fine.

well now im using edifier m1310 if im not mistaken ... welll i got a budget of around 500 <

what is the best 2.1 audio system i can get with budget RM400 and below...

YTou have to tell us what kind of music you listen to.

ohh.. if rm500 then shouldnt be much problem... i thought u want a 5.1 speaker below rm200.. hmm, im not a big fan of 5.1, so hopefully other experts will help u. g'luck!!

s330 for all-round performance? klipsch gmx if u wanna annoy ur neighbours with the powerful bass. i'd say go for the s330. just my opinion. audition speakers urself first before buying k? goodluck to u too!

i have rm500 but i still dont know which 5.1 speaker should i choose.. so hard nowdays.. aiyaa.. only enzo 7000 supports optical under rm500 (based on my knowledge).. optical is really important.. it's like hdmi for audio..

Optical is juz slightly enhance ur audio quality, u also need a decent sound card & of coz see how far ur system can perform.

please rekomen me 5.1 speaker budget under rm400.. ty..
