Bro, not likely you can get anything extremely good with RM250 for a 5.1 speakers. Either you wait and save more for 5.1 or go for a 2.1

My fren say got 2 model that cost around RM199,one is 2421 another dunno wat liao~~~

2421 not that nice for music listen ,the voice come out from it was little bit blur , it is lower price than M3300 , but if u want the best sound quality at below RM250 , no doubt M3300 is the best choice. Many agree about this

how much roughly S330D will cost? same price as S330 and drop the price for S330?

How bout Sonic Gear EGO8 and Enzo600?? Compare to M3300 which 1 nicer??? I see the spec between them and I found out EGO8 and Enzo 600 got higher watt then M3300.
Is it higher watt means better quality in sound??

Few things to answer yourself first, before jumbling yourself with products choices
1. Will you mainly be using it for music, games, or movies?
(2.1 or 5.1)

2. What kind of music you listen to most of the time?
(Will nail down your preference for more emphasis on bass, midrange or treble reproduction). Opera lovers will buy very different models than rock music lovers.

3. Budget?
(which products realistically that is in your price range)

4. Test those 4 - 5 products with your own ears. Buy the one you like most.



Personally, I don't think much of Sonic Gear products, for now. But you don't get much quality choices in RM150 bracket...

1. Mostly will pick 2:1 since 5:1 price is much higher if want better quality. Erm,more emphasized on movies and then music.....so you should get the ranking

2. Erm,mostly pop and rock but definitely not opera,lolx

3. Please refer to my previous post,my budget is around RM150-RM250 not below RM150

4. Well,is hard for me to test actually cause I'm from ipoh and most of the PC shop doesn't have complete set of speaker,eg: Got sonic no edifier,got edifier no altec...that' why I refer to here for recommendation

Higher watt not = better sound quality , it also depend on the material use to build the speaker, never listen to Enzo 600 b4 ,so cant give u a accurate answer ,but Sonic Gear EV08 are seriously cannot match with M3300 ,the sound really crap if compare with M3300 Dun worry bro , i give these judgement becoz i tested each of them

agreed with xk2,Sonic Gear cant really provide the quality of sound because its product line is focus more on economical but not quality...if u have the budget why not u go for something that worth what u paid for...

I saw a Sonic Gear EVO7 for RM120, its very attempting coz it look nice but i personally prefer edifier... any suggestion?

I was wondering.. comparing Logitech X-230 and Altec Lansing VS2421, which 1 is better? In terms of overall performance.
For me, I prefer clarity over bass as I listen to instrumentals/vocals.

not sure bout x230, but vs2421 is not suitable for vocals can try Edifier brand if u wan, model is E3100 , can pawn both x230 and vs2421 for vocal and instrumentals in my opinion .

but I have a problem, because I'm in Tasmania, Australia now, only the 2 speakers I mentioned are available here (sad case).
So I'm choosing between Logitech X-230 and Altec Lansing VS2421 and I would like to know which one is better.

guys I was wondering which is better, edifier r501, altec vs3251, logitech x540 or creative inspire m5300? would be using for games and movie.. or hav other recommendations? my price range is around rm400 and looking for 5.1..or is it not worth it compared to 2.1? sorry for asking too much question..I am a noob and this is my first speaker

if u are just going to use it for gaming and movie, then by all means, go for it
but for music ... u are better off with Edifier E3100
